Really follow the rules!  I files in sept.  Still not one check.  The last three weeks your system s security certificate is invalid, if it let me claim my weeks then it crashes and all my work is gone!  Getting thru on your phone system is a joke.  Over two hundred tries and have only made it through for times...no issues resolved.  "Please call back", well I can't.

Well to end the confusion that seems to run rampant, here is the deal.  IF you get a call from the State of FL Dept. of Economic Opportunity (DEO) -You have filed an Unemployment Insurance Claim.  This being said, you NEED to answer the call as they often do not accept inbound calls to the Tallahassee numbers.  The person calling will identify them self and the reason for the call.  Usually it is to clear up any potential flag that exist on your account/claim that would otherwise prevent you from receiving your benefits.  The person calling CANNOT help you get your benefits, they can only address the issues that caused the flag/denial to occur and they refer it to another person to process.  It is no big deal folks!  If you want to receive the benefit you have to follow the rules.

I had received calls from this number with no message.  Thankfully, Mike had called me back and it is Florida Unemployment in Tallahassee.  I called local One Stop Workforce Branch and confirmed valid call/caller.  Random calls to verify and continue with unemployment claims.

I got a call from 850-921-7400 on my home and cell  - but no one was there. I called back 8509217400 but the number is out of order  I am now calling 800 204 2418 but can't get thought - I will keep trying

Recieved a call from a person that said they were with Florida Unemployment Office. Thought it was odd since it was a Saturday. Person knew my name and asked me questions about my eligility to find work.  Thought this was still strange since i had went to my local Workforce center last week and answered these same questions. He said it was a Re-Employment Eligibility Assessment.  Since he did not asked for any personal information and only asked questions about my skills, the type of work i was looking for, distance i was willing to travel for work and whether there was any reason I could not work, so I answered his questions. As far as I can tell it seemed to be a legitimate call from Florida Unemployment Office.

Please call me back because  I need some one that speak spanish.

this number called me, i did not answer..googled and found it was unemployment. i tried calling back and it says its disconnected. i am collecting unemployment!! what do i do? i cannot reach them back on this number..is this going to mess me up with my weeks or anything???

Received a call from this number, I didnt answer, they left a voicemail...but all you hear is typing and then jazz type music on repeat over and over....nobody ever says anything. Im not on unemployment (based on previous comments) or anything like that, so Im not sure why Id be getting a call from this #

Claimed my weeks on Monday and I was told that I needed to contact 1-800-385-3920 to do a work search verification, once I finally got through the CSR was RUDE and then she told me that I needed to contact 850-921-7400..what a suprise it was disconnected!!!!!  State of Florida Unemployment is a joke,no suprise look who our gov is...

got a call 2 times while sleep 1 at 838 am and the other one at 840am no one leave a message.

missed call, called back the same day, the number 850-921-7400 is not in service!!! looked up under google for Workforce got 850-821-1119 called that number, unbelievable there's nobady by that name! Then the lady said "might be one of the agency" transfer me, so the person answered the phone said that person is gone for the day! ARE YOU KIDDING?! I called bace 5 minutes later and she's gone! so I ask to leave her msg on her voicemail, GUESS WHAT? the voice mail is FULL!

Missed the call the same day my unemployment check was supposed to be in the bank. It's not in there and they won't answer.
