These people are disgusting.  This is a scam.  These people are uneducated and unemployed.  They are stupid imbeciles with no life and no pride.  They walk around in pajamas all day calling hard working people at their jobs to trick them out of their hard working money.  They do all of this so they can sit around, use drugs, and drink malt liquor.  I actually feel sorry for these idiots as they have no means of making money other than "trickery."  I guess the thought never crossed their minds to go to school, get a good education, and get a real job.  At the end of the day these people still have to look in the mirror.  They have no integrity, morals, or ethics.  They go through life as waste discarded, living hand to mouth, and not knowing where their next meal will come from.  They are vile vultures who are evil and a disgrace to all mankind.  There are people who steal, murder, and cheat.  These people are no better.  Many people that I talked to have not ever received a loan.  They simply applied online.  They applied online through an unsecure site which compromised their personal information. Even people who were co-signers to loans that were never approved are being scammed.  It is good that there are forums to air out these cold, calculated, uneducated, evil, disgusting life forms. They must constantly recycle names, phone numbers, and company names.  This is why you will see a number with several comments on one day regarding a number.  Then there will be a lapse.  Then you'll see another number, with a new name, with the same comments.  The one thing that I do believe in is JESUS CHRIST.  I know that he will spare me from evil.  These people will one day have to account for all the lies, deceit, and terror that they cause daily in the lives on innocent people.  You reap what you sow. These people can fool people sometime but they can NEVER make a fool out of God.

I received a similar call today. They used this number (855) 549-3676.  DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. They threatened me with legal action and said that they would serve me with papers if I did not return their call. As an attorney I know how the legal system works. If you're going to get served with papers then you get served with papers. You don't get a call threatening someone with service. And you cannot be arrested or put in jail in a civil action only a criminal action. And if it is a criminal action like fraud then the police are involved, not private companies, and you would be arrested not threatened over the phone with arrest.

To Caroline: Their claim that you can be arrested for "breach of contract" is completely false. Breach of contract is a civil claim and if they really had a potential claim then you would have already been served with papers there would be no threatening phone calls. Also, if you were going to be arrested for "check fraud" then the police would have arrested you for "check fraud". And they wouldn't have called you and given you a heads up that they would get an arrest warrant. I hope this eases your mind.

I, too, received a call from these people threatening that I wrote a bad check and will be taken to court. I am literally sick with worry...

Received numerous calls threatening to have arrest warrants out for my arrest for two counts of check fraud and breach of contract.  I do not know what to do or if I should contact the local police department.

Afsg is a scam. Do not give them your money. All they want is your acct or credit card info, will not provide an address or verification of the debt.

I also have received phone calls from 855-202-8359 and they mention an old payday loan and ask me to make arrangements to pay it by giving credit card information. I have not received anything in writing or anything in the mail as to what this is. Do I have the right to ask for it? Could this just be someone who has got my information? They mentioned being served papers in the county I live in like the previous person has said. Anyone with advice? or does anyone have an update on their post? The name of the business when I call is AFSG???

Called again but this time said to call 855-201-8704 which again is an office of Amway.  They don't mention Amway in the call though.  Did mention legal action in the county I live in but would not provide written communication.

Received a call from an unknown number about a bad check which I have not written.  Told me to call 855-202-8359 which when I called said I'd reached Amway.
