Fraudulent debt collector leaving message in a slightly menacing tone (very amusing) and claiming to be a legal firm. Inability to use standard English a dead given away that these are no lawyers. Oh, and the same person that left the message is also the voice for their phone "system." Sounds like the "lawyer" is also the secretary. And probably the "paralegal" too. They've been added to my blocked senders lists. Thanks to my iPhone! I almost wish I had spoken to them as I could have used a good laugh.

Apparently, for lawyers, you are also illiterate. This little screed you posted is full of spelling and grammar errors. Real lawyers use standard English. Oh, and they don't post "rebuttals" on internet sites.

They did the same to me but for some strange reason he couldn't tell me what type of debt it was. FRAUD!!!

Show the rest of us your credit history. I'm pretty sure most of your employees are ex criminals that you gave a second chance too, at least that's how they come off. U called me about a credit line I never had, that was older than my children who are now grown. Your stupid uneducated employee couldn't even tell me where it was from, he said maybe a home loan, my first home was purchase in 2010 and the debt he was calling from was 1999, what am I missing here??? If u all focus more on having a little more professionalism u will be able to close more cases. But u all are just a pack of dumbasses that think we don't know the law.

Pamela (and others), I also received a voicemail from a Matt Russell describing himself as a Chief Legal Investigator and left a call back number of 855-380-7726 regarding a court case using the last 4 digits of my social security #.  Thank you for posting this information!!  Now I am sure who these people are and not to give them any of my information!

Just listened to a voicemail from this number. The caller did not leave a name, but insinuated that I had a court case pending in a state I don't live in. As a former victim of identity theft, this is a concern for me. The message stated that after "numerous attempts" to contact me they have no choice but to file the order to appear. I'm assuming my reply call to this "agency" will be frought with complications. And to whomever replied to this thred as the owner of DM and Assosicates: not only are you making yourself out to a complete moron by posting message that has so many spelling errors that one one might think you are a jr high dropout, but it also makes you out to be quite the Do***e bag!

Follow the steps in what you need to know in my post above. Seek a FDCPA/TCPA attorney if you need to.

Kept getting calls from this number stating I owed a debt. When I refused to give any personal information, they became belligerent and cursed at me for something I had no clue about. They kept hanging up and telling me I was a scumbag that didn't pay bills. Contacted the local police department and they even claimed that any type of calls like this is just a scam and not to give any information. SCAM!!!!!!!!!

As with all scammers, flood them with phone calls in return.

Place ads on Craigslist with their phone number, and say they are a food stamp administator, who will determine eligibility for food stamps after they run an "asset verification".

Unfortunately now, their mail box is full. So check before placing your ads.

these scam artists called my brothers & sister-in-law's house stating they were w/DM & Associates 1-855-380-7726 looking for me Re a lawsuit, naturely my SNL gave me the message, yet I replied not to talk to them nor answer their calls, since I have no credit card debt nor have I used my family as a credit reference.

I just got a call from 8553807726 said his name was Matt Russell chief investigator regarding a court case using my social.security number. I called back the number which has a voicemail DM andAssociates an employment verification firm. It is obviously a scam.It sounds serious but they are a bunch of crooks. Don't give them any info.

This number recently contacted my sister, had the last 4 of my ss and my address , said I signed for a loaned for 3,700 back in 2001.  When I called them and informed them they had the wrong person , I was offered an out of court pay off, when I told them I wasn't giving him any money that I wanna find out who forged my name he hung up.

i got a call from an Adam Carey, 1 855 380 7726 and  678 688 9012, who says he is a Chief Legal Investigator and was pursuing  criminal charges for a credit card debt from 2007. I called back and asked questions like, what is your website?/ where are you located?/ is this a time barred debt?/ and he became very aggressive and rude saying  i was a "scumbag" and to "f*** off" because i couldn't afford to pay his Retainer fee to look at the website. I asked for his name and he said he was Lucifer, my worst nightmare and then offered that he had an 850 score... Now he is saying he is filing harassment charges on me and will garnish my wages...

i just got a call and they were asking for my father, they left a message saying it was an attorneys office and gave a case number saying to call back today. You gotta be careful with these collection or so they say they are a collection agency. I get these calls all the time and when you try to get information from them they are unwilling to provide.  Ask if they know the FDCPA.. I bet they wont know what it is and they obviously arent following it

Me too! This is ridiculous! Then they had the nerve to say they had a docket number for my "violation" and I better call back immediately.

Called twice within thirty minutes informing me that they were calling in regards to a violation I committed using my name, SSN and address.

Hung up on me.

Talk about unprofessional they called trying to collect funds from my expired daughter and proceeded to tell me to shut up and that my daughter was not dead, Ugh I have an attorney investigating.

This supposedly attorneys office called stating my expired daughter wasn't dead and i needed to pay them some monies proceeded to tell me my daughter was not expired and I needed to shut up and listen to what they had to say. I will hire an attorney to investigate

They are a rude collection agency that calls and harasses people.Lie about being attorneys, and give personal info to coworkers, and try to get your coworkers to give them your personal info. If they were a real attorney they would know the procedure process and would be professional.
