This is a time share come on. Read the back of the reservation check in. You pay all taxes and fees and have to sit thru a 90 min timeshare sales talk. Sorry, been there, got that T shirt. The number on this is 855 298 0501. Goes to the shredder for me. Oh, And it isn't my birthday, and i doubt if it is anywhere near the anniversary for Norwegian Cruise Line.  Maybe we should all remail these to Norwegian Cruise lines customer service. Maybe they would get fed up and not allow their name to be used. As a matter of fact, I'll donate a stamp and envelope to the idea and do it today.

Yeah - I just won a free airline ticket.  All I need to do is call and claim the offer.  If you tear apart the entire mailing, the back has a statement "Call for details of participation:  No purchase necessary.  Approximate Retail Value $2400, hotel  not included.  Recipient is responsible for all applicable taxes and fees. Certain restrictions apply.  60 minute presentation on travel services, if married, cohabiting or engage, both parties must attend together.  This offer not valid in states where prohibited."

What a deal.  Stay away from these types of sales pitches.  Borders on scams.

I just got one as well.  Called the number and asked the name of the company before I talked to them.  They are not NCL, nor any other cruise line.  They identified themselves as Luxury Vacation Deals.

They want us to attend a seminar, and give us the certificates at the end.  Sounds like the same deal.

While it may or may not be a scam, they said that we would have to pay the taxes, etc.  That in itself may be a lot of money.  Better off booking your cruise with a legit company.

No free lunch here!

Wow, I won two round trip airfares with "A US Airline" , flight # FLYS100, Depart US, Arrive US, Gate A11  - Terminal may change, check monitors!

All I have to do is call 1-855-210-2502. Yeah right. This thing has scam written all over it.

And they sent it in a scary looking envelope that you have to tear open on the sides. It states in big letters "BUSINESS MAIL - PENALTY FOR TAMPERING / FORM 2011"

ROFLMAO!!!

just got the SAME thing as prior person.  It seems they have now switched to claiming Norwegian Cruise Line rather than Carnival.  Too bad for them that most people use the internet these days to filter this mess out.  Thanks to all who posted.

I got the same letter from "Norwegian Cruise Line." I knew it was a scam as soon as I saw it; I usually just toss these things in the trash, but decided to do some investigative work and find out if anyone else had received this. No address or anything listed on it and wish we were able to locate the jerks sending this junk mail out. Thanks to all for discussing  their experiences.

Just got the same letter from Norwegian Cruise line, same deal, same phone number. They messed up this time and in the line Ship put "Royal Caribbean". How Norwegian CL sells cruises on Royal Caribbean ships?

I believe after Vincent?s comments they change their letters. There is no ?small prints? anywhere (front or back). Also the letter looks like this special letters that you have to tear 3 sides to open it.

Thank you for posting the info

Read the back.  It CLEARLY STATES (get your magnifying glass out) that they are not affiliated with Carnival Cruses and that your attendance at a 60 minuet presentation is required.  Also prof of identity and co-habitation arraignment.

Remember, the large print givith and the small print takith away...

We received the same card in the mail a few months ago. It was for a vacation club. If attended their little presentation that they were having to celebrate the arrival of their business in your area, you would get a free 7-day cruise PLUS airfare.

I knew it was a gimmick, but scheduled a time to attend the presentation. Well, after they get you involved by giving you points for providing interesting answers to their questions, they spring it on you that the points add up to dollars off their premium membership. We ended up being the couple with the most points and were quickly whisked away by one of their reps for the hard sell.

After playing around with them for about 15 minutes we told them we weren't interested in their membership and would you please give us the certificates for the cruise and airfare.

Now here is where they get you. You have to pay a deposit to be able to use the certificates. For the cruise it was $200.00 and for the airfare, it was $150.00. Then to make it even more interesting, there was no guarantee that you could use both together OR get the cruise or flight you request.

To summarize, the coupons they give really are not worth the paper they are printed on! And don't waste your time attending their presentation!

This is a total scam.. Has already been reported to the Attorney General in Texas.

If you must call, do not give them any personal information or credit card numbers. If you already did, you best call your credit card company and stop payment.

so i called carnival and they verified its not from them.. . they did say that it may be a 3rd party travel agency providing an offer.  When i asked if it was common for travel agencies to provide unsolicited sales offers they said no, they also said it was not common for travel agents to send mail without a mailing address.  In not so many words the two people i talked to at Carnival said this was not legit.

It's absolutely not real. The scammers are posting here hoping to lure people in. There are so many loopholes and requirements that you'll lose money and never get the cruise.
