I am on the do not call list.  Why are these people calling me?

Herman Cain is a fine and decent person.

He would have made a fine President / Vice President.

He is a person... much better than most 'thinker' Democrats, Republicans, Texans, Blacks, Whites, etc.

He simply is a black American, who has achieved.
He was not given it to him...

This is just one of many junk calls I get on my home phone. I can block only a given number on ATT using my computer access but that is used up by now. Also I can block them on my Panasonic phone but it still rings once.
Time to stop these calls....but how can that be done?

Let me just say this about NCO, I've dragged them to court and won on a case against them and .........they still call, but the point is NCO has managed to bypass call blocks, use fake phone numbers and piggy back phone numbers all of which is according to the Fair Debt Collection Act is a violation of conduct it also violates FCC laws, so for someone to say it was NCO while everyone else is stating it's the cain campaign doesn't surprise me, what does surprise me is the FCC and FTC allowing NCO to continue doing business the way they do .

You can call the number back and press "1" to be removed from their list.
They are so obnoxious -- calling all day long.

I'm not sure the calls are actually from him (Herman Cain '999 Campaign')... but sounds like him !

I called back, and placed my number on the do not call list.  I have not received any more calls.

I hope all Americans will get involved in the primary process, learn the issues, and cast their primary and finally their 2012 votes,  for the the President and Congress who will lead us for the next four years.

I have 'call blocking' service on my phone.  I have a couple of dozen numbers blocked.  Once in a while I run through the 3-day record of calls, including ones that didn't ring because they are on the 'rejected' list (I can punch it up on my cable TV) and have found that eventually these numbnuts do stop calling.

got 10 calls in the past week from the Cain campaign. half the time I get dead air, the other half I get a recording that hiccups in the middle and restarts. I have no political party and am tired of hearing about this guy. I would not vote for him or any other politician that keeps calling my house. If I am interested, I know where to go.

I have no funds for Herman Cain.  I am not sure I would even vote for him at this point.  The multiple calls are harassment, and are jamming my phone.

Called late on a Sunday evening. Very disruptive. No message left. We are on the NO CALL
LIST. Unless this was an exempt call it is a Federal Law violation, I believe.

We get calls every day that we do not answer and they never leave a message.

Tried to go through the hoops to place my number on their do not call list.  I would give our 10 digit phone number that would not be recognized by them so it was INVALID every time!  Impossible to get our number on that list.  Guess it means THEY  ARE ALL MESSED UP!  HA HA on them.  Get smart!????!

Received these annoying calls all weekend,its 9:30 pm on a Sunday and they just called, my question is why hasn't this womanizer registered as a SEX  OFFENDER in the state of Georgia ,any legal beagles out there with an answer  ????

Have received multiple calls over 2 week period.  No reply when answering, so presume this to be automated call.  If this is political, shows very poor taste.

I am receiving numerous unwanted calls from this number all times of the days, nights, and even on Sundays!! I am Not interested in talking to these dumbasses!!! If continues I will seriously hurt someones feelings!!!

Way to go! That is taking proactive steps and understanding that campaign season is what it is.

I will be voting for Herman, and although I'm unable to financially contribute I understand how the system works and that they need to make all these calls. I'm with you, blocking the number is good, and I also simply ignore it. Once I found out it was from this number, I simply added it to my phone directory so that I know "Herman is calling" when that number comes through! Or simply try telling them exactly that - you do like Herman but you do NOT want to receive phone calls. This simply happens with any candidate you might have shown some support for. I've never given them money, but I've participated in other ways. I guess that somehow leads them to my phone number...

With the Herman Cain calls, take the call and tell them that they somehow have your number in error and ask them to please take it immediately off their list. I believe that these 855 numbers, as well as some others, are considered "disposable" 800 numbers, and may recycle to new purposes. What I wonder about is whether the old calling histories sometimes move with the number, providing a broader data base for the callers even if it is totally inappropriate...

Odd that you have this number identified as NCO and as a Bill Collector. Everyone else has identified this as a Herman Cain 999 fundraising organization, and I just received a call for that purpose from them. So... this is indeed a mystery!

With a bill collector who is calling the wrong number for a person, legitimate companies will cooperate with removing your number from the data base when you inform them of their error. Many times these companies do a general search for a debtor by doing general searches using the persons' first initial, variations of spelling their name, or past known residence AREAS. For example if they are looking for Samuel Michael Hollings who lived in Topeka Kansas 10 years ago, they might do searches for everything from that exact name to S M Hall from Topeka, as well as everyone with the last name Hollings.

If they do not cooperate, as one I had didn't, you can report them to the FCC. About 10 days later all calls totally ceased.
