I assure you, this is not the American Diabetes Foundation.This is a telemarketer or a scammer using different "hats" as their i.d. Mine always says Private Caller or just Private. I treat them as I do all other fake or questionable calls...I don't answer and let my phone blocker pick up and give them the message that: "The number you have called is no longer in service...please make sure...etc."

I started getting calls from 4 different numbers, starting on August 12, 2013. After investigating a little on various websites, I have concluded they all seem to be from "American Diabetes Association". As of today, September 15, 2013...the total number of calls is 21 (3 of these were on Sundays). Here is a list of the numbers:
855-212-5928 = 7 calls
855-321-9256 = 4 calls
888-676-9712 = 6 calls
888-925-5916 = 4 calls
Also, all 4 of these numbers have "TOLL FREE CALL" as caller id.

They called my landline but didn't leave a message, The caller i.d. shows Private Number. My question is why would a legitimate orginization not leave a message and show who they are on caller identifiation.

I called back (on both my cell phone and a landline) and a recording said they were the American Diabetes Association. I checked the ADA website and there was no such number listed. There was an option to input my phone number into their do not call list, so I put in their phone number.

This number calls several times a week; the number appears multiple times in my caller ID list. A message is never left - and "UNKNOWN" callers are ignored by my system.

This number calls frequently, several times a week, rings 3 1/2 times, then hangs up. I have no idea who it is, the caller ID is labeled "UNKNOWN." Given the frequency of the calls and the fact that whomever is calling never leaves a message, I'm guessing it's a scam of some sort.

I keep getting messages from 855-212-5928 and no one will speak up when I answer.
