Got the same call but number is list under name "John Deba" 512-563-1997

I received a txt message @ 11:30pm on April 25 from this number saying my account was frozen. I don't have an account from them. Never applied for coverage or even requested information. I already have health insurance through my job. The txt said it was from 82880@vtext.com (s m i ONE( TM)) and to contact 8552164367. That the account # 478655-XXX was frozen.

I just got the same text and I replied to the text as follows:
    Nice scam dumbass the authorities have been notified.
I then called the number and put in fake numbers so it hung
up on me.

My text says

(855)2164367 Card:478655XXXXIssue

Glad I checked here. I don't have anything with those digits.

I received the SAME Message today. It said my account was frozen. Called the number back and got a recording asking for SS# INFO.. This is a scam.

I got the same text on my cell and called Verizon to ask if they knew who it was. They said to email the information to phishing@verizonwireless.com. If you use a different carrier, call and ask to send it to. These phishing texts and emails are getting out of hand!

Just got a text message telling me to call this number because my SMI One pre-paid Visa Debit card had been frozen due to a problem with the account.  I have never had a pre-paid Visa debit card.  Didn't bother to call.  SMI One has a big note on their website stating that someone has been doing this ... 3 texts with 3 different callback numbers -- this one, 415-523-5043 and 866-269-7516.  Turning the info over to the FCC.

got text mess. on phone saying my smiONE (TM) account was frozen and saying to call number above. I called verizon since it said it was from vtext.com.  Verizon said they didn't know but because they used vtext.com it must be something to do with verizon. well that was helpful. anyway called the 855 number from another line and got recording wanting my last 4 of social. typed in 00000 trying to get real person...didn't and hung up. reporting to verizon now. am already on DNC list.

Started getting these texts last night at 10:00, and have received 2 more this morning saying account frozen and i have no account nor have i applied for health insurance anywhere, have free wonderful health coverage at work, must be some kind of scam.

I keep getting text messages that my account is frozen. It says to call 1-855-216-437. When I call it says to re-activate my debit card to enter the last four of my social and card number. No identification as to who they are. It will not allow you to talk to anyone. I hate scammers.

I got a mesage saying my account was frozen due to suspicious activity to call back the 855 number. Then they asked for your ss#, debit card #, and pin!

Just like Cinda, I received a text stating "Community Driven" and account frozen, and when I called the number they ask for your last 4 digits of your SS# to verify yourself and state that debit card was frozen due to technical difficulties. I called both my bank and Verizon (as it looked like it came from a Verizon rep) and I was told to report this to the police and definitely this is a scam.

My husband actually received a text message with this number as the contact number. Said:

(COMMUNITY DRIVEN) Contact 8552164367. Account Frozen

Thanks the the information on here we will not be calling this number.

I got the same exact message, one last night at 10:45 and one this morning at 7:11.  It was an IM sent to my phone with the screen name [s m I ONE(TM] ) telling me to contact 855 216 4367 about a frozen account.

Same here ..... frozen acct. I say off with their heads Scamers trying to take advange of hard working honest people .... Time to rid the earth of humans who Do Not Contribute to Society..... Takers, Sponges Leaches  lets rid the Earth of them all hehehehe hahahahah RAWR off with their heads or at least break their fingers so they can't txt hehehehe hahahahaaaa....

My Daughter & I just got the same text message at the same moment! Glad I didn't believe it and looked it up on here. Crazy stuff!!! Don't have or ever had dealings with any vtext.com. Ours says

43380@vtext.com: (smi ONE( TM) Account 478655-XXX Frozen. Contact: 8552164367.

What really aggravates us is the time it came 10:45 pm, we work and have children who have school in the morning!!!!
