I got a call today from that number, saying there were issues with my account (not true since the name they left in the message is not my own) and to call back. I saw the caller name and number and decided to call back and make sure they knew this was an outrageous way to approach people... I gave them hell, refused to answer their questions (they claimed to have called me to reach this other person whom they thought I might be related to) and informed them I would complain to Cogeco. The gentleman apologized repeatedly, and then I proceeded to call Cogeco and give them to info I had on the call I had received. That better be the end of this, as I am not impressed by this at all.

they called me everyday even when I have resolved my billing matter with Cogeco (which they personally made a mistake on); it has been noted on my account and all....annoying f@^k!

This is a 3rd Party Collection Agency hired by Cogeco.  They called me continually based on a mistake by Cogeco billilng.  I am still  trying to sort it out.  These people who work for this agency are scumbags.  They ask you to call them back, but they NEVER answer.

I got a call on my cell from this number but I didn't answer.

this number has been calling for weeks saying its cogeo wanting to talk 2 my boyfriend when im the one who deals with them i have called cogeo they say its not them it has gotten to the point of where they are leaving a voice mail on his cell saying its cogeo cable its not a solitation  call despit their best efforts to reach him they have not been able to which is not true as i made payment arragements for the remaineder on our discontected cable

They call, asking for Sharon, then expect me to push numbers to get a message.  I answered once when the number was displayed.  After ignoring a bunch more calls, they called again, with the number hidden, and again it was a computer asking for a Sharon.  Then back to identified calls, one that woke me up this morning.  I have stopped answering all unidentified calls, which is a pain as skype calls from my family also read as unidentified.  Calls at least once a day over the last couple of weeks.  Maybe it is a debt collector or a scam to get me to push buttons. I am annoyed as my name is not Sharon and there is not a real person to say "Hey, wrong number" to.

I just called Cogeco to ask if it was one of their numbers and they said it was NOT.

So these are our our protectors?  Thanks FTC -- You are as effective stopping these scam artists as you are keeping your own house in order.  

Your form to fill out to complain is great, but if you ever try to fill in who owns the number, they won't talk to you.  If you call back a scam to ask to be off thier list or advise them you are on the Do not Call list, they bill you.  And you still don't lnow who they are!

All consumers!  Make sure you have told your phone company not to permit third party billing.   Make sure it is in place.

keep messing with me, i receive like  50 calls from that number a month

this is not cogeco cable. This is a scam from the US. When you pick up they just sit there then hang up.. charging you .40 cents for just picking up.  I talked to my cell phone provider and they are going to be looking into it

It's cogeco cable but for the longest time I would get hang ups!!

Have received three in the past week, but they won't leave a message or hang up when I answer. :-(

Got one as well but when I answered they hung up.
