Get repeated call from this number! No one there! or goes to the answering and get just a dial tone followed by the 'your call can not be completed - please try again"?..followed by loud tone (telling me to hang up)!

I had put it on my blocked caller list last year so three calls today were cut off after one ring. The real phone number for the Boys and Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton is 855 424-8181 (not 855 224-8181) so I don't really know who is leaving this message or who picks up any used clothing or small household items left at the door.

The Boys and Girls Club number is 855-*424*-8181, NOT 855-*224*-8181... These calls are coming from some other party coat-tailing on the BaGC reputation.  Ya gotta read the number correctly if you're gonna cast aspersions.

No voice mail left, call came up as "Toll Free Serv", if it was Boys and Girls club they should have their name show up on the call display then i would've answered it.

Called but hung up before I answered.  No message left on voicemail.  Must not have been important.  Will keep note of number to ensure I don't answer in future.

These calls need to stop. They're  becoming more frequent. I often get calls before 10:00 AM or after 8:00 PM.
I'm on the do not call list and it  seems like it's getting worse. I'm also getting calls on my cell phone as well. Where is customer courtesy gone? I believe this is called harassment. If someone knows where to report this I would be grateful. I'm in Edmonton, Alberta.

Just a hang up when the phone was answered - annoying, and the number is supposed to be on a national 'do not call' phone list.

Called in edmonton alberta from this number on Feb 14/13 ~6pm.  Did not answer as I am very suspicious of numbers that have repeating sequences in the last 4 digits ..8181 ...9898 etc.  No message left.

Rec'd call at 9:37 AM on a Saturday morning.  I picked up / hung up.
If Donette (above) is to be believed, this call is illegal (rec'd before 10 am on a weekend).

I phoned the toll free number provided in a voice mail on my recorder. Not to arrange a donation pickup but to request removal from their automated dialing system. I spoke to a most courteous person who stated she would do so immediately. She provided me with her name and I suggested she would hear from me again if I receive another solicitation.

This company called my house at 9:00 AM on a Saturday morning, which is illegal. By Canadian Law they can only call after 10:00 am on weekend.

Just got a call.

Dead air no message.

who knows the website or complaint line to keep these numbers from calling it was on the news about a year ago, so that these people calling can be stopped??

Aug. 15, 2012 at 6:18 PM this number called my place.  I was not home.  They left no  message.  There is no name for a company on my Call Display, which tells me the call is quite unimportant . . . I understand that 855 is supposed to be a toll-free number in the future, so why is it on Call Display now??  I live in Alberta.
