This is a collection company, CCS, that uses false, misleading and deceptive ways to try and get the person on the phone to speak to them about a possible debt that they may owe. My family had a message on their recorder that stated that a Mr. Martinez was looking for my wife and that she should call him that it had to do with the property at (and gave my address). This IS HARRISMENT, They are using false and misleading information to get the person to call them back or pick up the phone. Which is a violation.
I called the number back and spoke to a Sarah (To whom I gave the reference number to that Mr. Martinez left in his message) who then put me through to Mr. Martinez. I identified myself and he already had the account up because he told me that he was calling in reference to my wife. (Another Violation) at no time did he tell me nor did he read the mini miranda letting me know that it was about collecting a debt, nor that the call was being recorded.  
After trying to explain to him that this was against the law, he then wanted to argue with me that it was in deed about the property that my wife owned. I told him that she did not own the property that it was solely in my name. He stated it was about the property because he mailed a letter to that address and never received nor heard from anyone. Again, False and misleading (Not about the property)?? this is where it started to lead to an argument and he kept talking over me telling me to taking it personal but continue to give me no information. We ended the call.

I than called back and got Sarah on the phone again asking for their address because I wanted to file a complaint. She placed me on hold and another person then picked up. I told him my name and he said ?OH Mr. (and used my last name) you decided to call me from an unknown number and asked me why I was calling. I told him that I was calling for their address so I can send a complaint. He told me to send it to the BBB and would NOT give me their address, COWARD. He had the account already up because he started again to tell me that I was taking it personal and that I was putting words into his mouth and trying to bate him, I did not have to bate him, they already violated the FDCPA. This guy was a real jerk. Because then he told me I did not identify who I was. Funny since he told me who I was when he answered the phone.  
Don?t let these unprofessional debt collectors push you around. Know the laws and what it is that you can do. There are Very Good Collections Agencies out there that will listen and try to help, and NOT use FALSE and MISLEADING practices to try and get you to call. This is a good suit, and I may be forwarding this off to my attorney, because I do have the message that Mr. Martinez left where he states it is in reference to the property at (and gave my address).

I get messages daily from these people both on my Cell and my Landline giving me the same garbage !! My Husband and I said to each other... What real Court House in this Country will call you on the phone to warn you that this is your Last Chance before they are going to serve me with Legal Papers if I Don't call this Attorney James Cranshaw at 714/415-3952 !!! Yeah OK !! I Googled the name and the only thing I can find is a James Cranshar Kellly an Attorney that has been disbarred !!!!!!!!!!!

I was called 4 times throughout the day yesterday (Aug 6) from this number (1-855-225-4156). Whoever kept calling finally decided to leave ONE voicemail, the last time a call was made. The guy on the voicemail was talking so fast I could not understand what he was saying, plus his tone tried to sound intimidating. He did not say what company he was from or why he was calling me. I couldn't even make out his name! I have documented everything just in case I need it and have recorded his voicemail on my digital recorder. If this is a debt collector, why is he calling me in August?!? Did they switch the time people get back tax returns? I haven't gotten a return in a few years as I am disabled and can't work, so I don't know about that one.....Very special

I thought it was strange their was no other contact, the call was so threatening & it seems to be a CA area code.  I never received any other mail or notification about this.  I hope someone figures this out or stops this person from making threatening phone calls.

No intention of calling these clowns back.

The lady who called from this number called me a "retard" because I wouldn't answer her questions about some loser that lived in this address in 2004.  How the heck would I know these people?

They keep calling with different messages, I called the Attorney Generals Office to look into this the gentleman stated it could be a scam because bill collectors do not threaten you with having 24 hours or till the end of the day toi contact them he is sending it over to the right area to have the number check into it.

This guy John Harding is a creep. He has been harassing my wife over an old us bank acct. that she had over 6 yrs ago. He called my Mother's residence and left a message for my wife claiming to be an attorney, and we saved it; good thing to because I called him today and he denied the whole thing! (also recorded with my handy dandy cell phone) The account was only for a 10$ overdraft, after CLOSING said account! hahaha!

I received several calls in February 2013 from this agency with threats. I had to file bankruptcy in 2009. and the US Bank account was listed in the bankruptcy. My attorney called them back on a three way conference call and they were so scared, maybe they will get the facts straight before harrasing innocent people again.

I was transfered to a man that kept saying I was giving someone a hard time at their office. and He kept saying something about atterneys and courts. He was talking so fast I couldn't even understand what he was even talking about. I asked him to stop slow down and explain what he was talking about. He was so rude, completely unprofessional. telling me that I had a problem from the get go of are conversation, when he asked if I was so and so, I replyed uhhuh nicely. He said it was a fact that I was giving him problems when I replyed uhhuh I wasn't being mean in any way.. I think He was upset that I had asked him,what he was talking about and to slow down and why he was bringing up atterneys and courts. He asked me if I had a problem with it. I havd never talked to anyone in that office before in my life. I wanted to know why he thought I was giving someone a hard time when I wasn't...Before I called them I recorded the whole phone call of him treating me so badly. I was thankfull to do so. I had a problem in the past where I was victemized by collection agencys. I asked him if I could speak to a supervisor, and to get his operator number which he refused to tell me. He told everyone in his office if a so and so calls to fransfer her to me. I told him are phone conversation was being recorded and he said a few harsh words and hung up... I called back and asked to speak with a manager and they said that they could no longer give me any information about my account when all I wanted to do was handle my account business. I'm not sure why this man was so rude to me. Maybe he was having a bad day, I don't know. But all I can say is I'm left wondering what I owe and I cant even find out. I have never been treated so badly by any company besides the other collection service I had problems with. I don't know what it is about collection services. I have another collection service that I talk to on a monthly basis and they would tell you that I'm the sweetest person and all I want to do is help them help me... I'm a mother of 4 beautiful children. I have two that are disabled. One is blind and my childrens father is disabled as well. I take care of my father, and my brother thats about to have back surgery. I'm not looking for a pitty party. I'm wondering how I can fix this??? Can anyone help me??? And what can I do. Same thing here, called me 14 times in a row today, never got a call from them before, I kept sending to voicemail. They left me a message saying that I needed to have my attorney contact them about a legal matter concerning my property at some address that isn't mine. They said the message serves as notification of this legal matter an they will proceed if they do no hear from me in 24hrs.

I got a voice mail from them. They said they have a complaint about my property and being the owner I have to deal with it. I live in an apartment.

I got a call from this same # and they immediately threatened to sue me when I told them I was unemployed. I filed an FTC complaint and an Attorney General Complaint in my area.

In my state 6 years, so I told them to pound sand...

Seriously 7 and a half years of this harrassment is to much.  Since it is no longer a "legal" Debt can I claim harrassment?

i got a call from them stating they have called several times (not true) and they were suing me for an unpaid us bank account from 2006. can they really do this?

Basically they are a call center.  7-8 years ago, US BANK was screwing their customers with a process that is no longer legal.

You would bounce a check, and have insufficiant funds, they would charge you the bounce check fee, then a service charge.  Sounds normal right... well the charge was applied EVERY DAY.

In my case, I had closed an account.  Had ZERO ballance.  Had paper work to prove it on file.  I forgot to change my checking account with an autopayment for car insurrance.I was only paying them twice a year.  My insurance agent called me and I gave them the new account info.  No money was ever taken out of the bank account so there should be no fee.

Wrong... the 35.00 charge PLUS daily charges was well over 350.00 by the time it went to collection.  I had never recieved a call or mail from US Bank.  When I closed the account I had given them my new address, they put a word in that rhymed.  Say I lived on grey fog road, it was grey DOG road... well duh, how do you get mail.

Anyway THOUSANDS of internet posts are out there about being screwed over by US BANK.  They eventually sold the debt, to someone who bought the debt and sold the debt, to someone who bought the debt and sold the debt, to someone who bought the debt and sold the debt, to someone who bought the debt and You get the picture...

THESE Guys told me it was a legal matter to call John Harding at 714-415-3948, if you look them up - they are really not attorneys, just debt collectors working on bought out US BANK Debts...

Just save the number in your phone and put IGNORE in the name field... makes it easier to send them to voicemail in the future
