Calls only. Won't send paper statement. Threatening.

They go by the guise of a law office under the fake name of Jack Meyers, fronting as a law office, instead these are viciousfraudulant debt collectors.

Here's a good start, call and tell them that harassing you at work is illegal, because it is. Also tell them that it is illegal to use an automated system and dialer to contact you for any reason other than emergency. I.e. police, hospital ect. Here's the exact law Telephone consumer privacy act, Google it for more info, 47 USC 227. Also let then know they are not kegaly allowed to forcefully collect a debt by any other means than a simple summons to appear in court to let a judge decide how the company is to be paid back. They can't seize, stop, take, or arrest anything. Then ask them for their real address so you can send them a legal cease and desist letter, which the are obligated by law to acknowledge and follow. Its simply a letter In writin telling or asko em to stop contacting you. If they persist. Let them know you are aware you can contact your local precinct, the FBI since it crosses state line, and the attorney general. That's just for starters. Let me know how it goes. Edit: most of these companies won't give you their real address, make sure you Google the address they give you.

This number 855-228-7519 keeps calling my job all the time with an automated message saying that they have a claim number and that my bank account would be affected. They are harassing me on my job and I need to know how to make it stop.

Called and left a automated message that my bank would be effected and that I would not be able to get into my bank account. I called the number back and it rang and rang... finally I got a recording and it states that I have reached Jack Myers company to leave a message and the day I called.  I asked who the hell this was and why the hell they are calling my number... then I proceeded to block the original number that popped up (830-357-7714)  AFter reading the other comments it looks like it is a Time Warner number... I have NEVER heard of this company, and I have NEVER had this company. Maybe the phone calls will stop.  I think I may put a fraud alert on my bank as well.

caller id number is 210 764 6064, although computer says to call 855 228 7519 if you want to be able to access your bank.

Rude threat calls

Threatening calls that sound like I will be arrested or unable to use my bank account after legal documents are delivered to my work.  My name they are using, I have not had in over 10 yrs.  No comany name, just a robot message.

Call and used another number. Showed a time warner cable phone number of 843 480 0356. Leaves a message saying that I have a claim against me and it will affect my bank and my account. Leaves the 855 number, no name or company name. It's a computer voice message. I have all my bills paid! So who the (blank) is this??? Anyone know??? They call almost daily! The jerks!!!
