I got a call on my voice mail for this company. It seems they are a collection company trying to collect an overdraft from an account i had with td bank. I called the bank and validated the debt it is real. I paid what i owed and they sent me a paid letter just like they said they would.

I too recieved the same message of letter of intent to be served at home and work. I screen my calls and I called back two times only to get a recording by a mediator. Then I googled this number and found it to be a scam. I report all unwanted calls to the goverment do not call website.
John 2014-06-19 17:24:28 Unknown
They are identity thieves, don't pick up the phone and don't give them any information. They are being sued by California Attorney General. Google it.

Received a call from a guy named John looking for one of my step daughter that has not lived with me for at least five years. How incompetent do you need to be at collections to not know how to find someone. Instead of apologizing for bothering someone in the middle of their work day, this do***e bag was rude as hell. Hey John, it's not my fault your over fifty and still working long hours for BS salary.

I got a call on my new office number saying that they had a Certified notice of intent with my social security number. First my business is a PC and does not have a social. Second I have no idea what a "Certified Notice of Intent" is and I am a lawyer. I think it is a scam and I am going to report them if they call back and reccommend you do same.
Also on the debt collection just make sure you ask for them to send written proof of debt before you give any information to them and insist on the original documents (credit card statements) many of these firms buy the debt and try to collect debts that are over the statute of limitations (varies from state to state- in MA it is 6 years on debts but more on mortgages). so before you pay do not be afraid to ask for proof. Negotiate any payment by reducing interest charges and late fees. These firms pay cents on the dollar for old debt and are just looking to make money on the people who are honest and feel bad.

These people are scammers. I got this phone call within a few minutes of another fake "collections" call.

Candice Wright called me and wanted to save me from going to court. She told me it was an old payday loan, which I did have , but she settled too quickly and I know it is a scam. Beware of this person and this number

A Candice Wright called me from this number said I owed for a payday loan, never did a payday loan.
This is a scam and beware, they want info on you and bank info as well. Report them to the State Attorney's office.

they are a Legit company, I owed TD bank money and with investigation it lead me to this company. Consider it the "last resort" before your assets are frozen or you have to appear in court they are very helpful and willing to work with you if time allows it. Paid my debt and dodged the bullet :)

Erica Martin 2014-03-18 00:14:24 Unknown
Called with a creepy message on my phone. something about delivering papers? with a recording looking for some spanish guy. You couldnt even understand it, breaking up and s***. Said to press a key and I did, then someone answered normal like I called them??? I just dont understand why collection places dont just go on these sites and tell people everything about themselves? Or at least have something come up in google about their company...I mean jesus...even if its in a basement, if its legit, why wouldnt they even tell me the name of their company?? @steve, I'm pretty sure you got your bill payed, but I dont think pay day loans even go against your credit. lol
steve 2014-03-18 00:00:57 Unknown
@shilkill. ADM collections. It was a payday loan I got from TD bank that was supposed to be paid out of my checking account when I was working. I lost my job and didnt care about it. 3 years later I got a new job and they saw it on my credit report. tried to get it off my credit. I called and faxed TD, two other collection places. Another office Delaware tried to call me on the same account but couldnt give me an email or letter or anything. I gave up trying to find it and a couple months ago these guys called. Maybe it is a scam?!? Or at least somehow someone from a Delaware number has my info. Either way its on my credit as paid now. Plus I refused to give them my real card and called back with a prepaid one. I paid a company over the phone on my debit card once and got nailed for almost triple what they said they would. I wouldnt give anyone any information about me at all if they called me. lol, you kidding me??
ShillKill 2014-03-16 05:17:57 Unknown
Well, that really doesn't tell us much and I hope you can fill us in on some more details since your post is very vague. For instance, what is the name of the company and how exactly does one "forget about an account from a couple of years ago"
Steve 2014-03-16 05:14:43 Debt Collector
Some Mumbo jumbo later, I had an acct I forgot about from a couple years ago. I had actually been calling places trying to find it when I got a recorded msg call. They already had my personal info. Paid it, was off my report in 60 days.
