yes. report it. they're a scam. internet payday loan collectors using extreme scare tactics to reach their commission. SHUT THEM DOWN.

They are calling my sister at her house stating I have a claim on me. That they will come to my house or work. I don't work.

They did not leave a company name or the name of a person calling.

"Marshall Wallace" identified himself as a process server from my home state and claims that he attempted to serve legal papers detailing a "Title 18 complaint" that was filed against "you" ( no specific name given - red flag for phishing scam!) If the call is not returned within 24 hours to "verify  your location" there will be a default judgment against "you" in the matter. I cannot find any listing for this "process server" in my state, and assume this is a scam, since the same number is being used for other harassing activities. Maybe I should report it to the local authorities????

These people called my daughter looking for me. Same story as everyone else here. These people have no morals.

Today I received an automated call with computer-generated female voice stating that a "legal claim" (which is a vague term)  had been filed against my name (which was not disclosed in message) and Social Security number. The message made reference to state law, but made no mention of what state that would be.  No company name or contact person was provided, just instructions to call a different 855 # as a complaint would be served at my home or place of work within 24 hours.  The message was threatening but vague; neither my nor anyone else's name was noted in the message as being the individual who is supposedly facing this legal claim.
Being both a business owner and an expert medical witness, I deal with legal documents routinely.  Legal documents, including court filings, contracts, wills and lawsuits, identify individuals by their full names; Social Security numbers are not used in legal documents or in the courtroom.
This call bore all the red flags of a phishing scam aiming to randomly obtain peoples' names and Social Security numbers.  Be careful not to respond to such messages. Returning such a call provides the scammer with confirmation that they have reached both a working phone number and a potential victim.  Your phone number will then be bundled with other confirmed viable numbers and sold to other scammers, exposing you to other potential scams.    

It's a scam, don't worry about it. Nothing they are threatening to do is legal and no one is going to show up at your home or work and nothing gets filed with the state. They just want to scare people into giving them money. These are criminals who have bought records of old debt and try to scare people into thinking they still have to pay on debt that has been written off.

Just received s message from this number for someone else stating they will be arrested turned this over to state attorney generals office

My sister got the same call for me from the Law Offices of ACG. I googled it as well and couldn't find anything either. Why are they calling my sister? How did they get her number?

Some feminin recorded voice threatened to send me legal papers if I did not respond within 24 hours of notification. This rustled my jimmies.

They called my sisters cell phone trying to get ahold of me and said if i didnt get ahold of them they were submitting legal papers to my place of empoyment.She said the messag was awful. The funny part how did they get my sisters cell phone number?

I recieved a  call from this  number no company name  just a phone number ,stating that they would serve me paper at my home or my place of employment and ask me to call them with a case number in which I do not have I which these call would stop and the threats would stop.

I received a phone call from a Green & Daly twice this week saying I owed money to a business I didn't know and that I was delinquent and being sued.  I disputed them on the phone - giving them no bank info.  I now received a phone message from a Jessica Bigson saying she is working with an attorney looking to locate my home or work address so they can serve me papers.  I KNOW I have NO outstanding bills that would require an out of state law firm to contact me.  I called the phone number and got an "ASG" answering machine.

This number called my place of business for the name listed, not me. It was a horrible recording, I could barely make it out, no business name was given, just a phone number and reference number stating they were going to take action against me based on current state and federal law and I needed to contact them immediately or it could impact my job and legal actions against me. I called and it was ACG, I spoke with Lisa who said she was the civil filing office and asked for the person in question. I told her it wasn't me, though we share the same first name, I said the recording is horrible and requested my number be deleted. She insisted it was me and I told her good-bye.

I got a call today from my daughters step-mom saying they called her house for me & left a message on their answering machine saying they were going to come to my job tomorrow. This is ridiculous I work for a collection agency myself & know that it illegal for them to threaten to do things that they are not going to do. I am going to report them to the better business bureau & would suggest anyone else getting these calls to do the same. If they knew where I worked they wouldn't be calling a man who I haven't been with in almost 10 years, we don't even live in the same town. I tried googling the company & can't find anything on them.

caller left message about its important for me to call back or papers will be served at my home or place of employment. They also left a case number. Who are these disgusting people? There is an arbitrator that keeps calling my sister's number and threatening to send papers to either her work or house alledegly looking for me and giving them 72 hours to have me call them.  They even went so far as to provide a case number and extension.

Flies charged against me according to state laws and that I would be served papers at my home or place of employment.

Don't you think if they are a legit company needing my signature on an important document that they would at least announce in the message who they are and the company they work for.  I mean isn't that the protocol from a professional legit collection agency.....sounds like a scam to me!!
