Got text about a job I applied for. I searched the number and found these posts.  I did not call.

Same thing, received a text about a job I applied to (event manager). It said "call back" and "to stop text: stop", so I figured right away that it wasn't right but wanted to see if there was something on the Internet and found all this comments. Stay away from scammers! Incredible that people take advantage of other's situations and make us waste out time.

I got a text msg from this number, and I had applied to so many jobs I couldn't figure out which company was sending this text msg. It was also weird considering that they usually give you a call instead of texting you asking to call them back (This was suspicious). Fortunately, I checked online first and found these helpful comments. Thanks. I won't be calling after reading all this

I've  received a text from them SCAM! SCAMSCAM!! SCAM!  browsing for some security jobs, though they send a message that i apply to it which i didn't, though i did got the job, i went to the actual place to get it.

I got the same kind of text only they got my name right. I looked it up on a few other websites and from what I can tell its just a scam.

I got a text from this number 855-233-8052 at first I was excited about getting someone to contact for a job as I have been looking for a job for months now... I then got a funny feeling that it didn't feel good..  they did specified a particular job position I had applied. I searched the number and found all these comments. I did call just to see what they would say and got a recording that certainly did not feel like a real person contacting me for a job....  It's sad we all trying to get jobs and have to deal with stupid people trying to take advantage...thank you all for posting..

Being unemployed makes you leery of everyone & everything unfortunately people take advantage of you while you are down. I check out EVERYTHING before I send my info & I too got this text to call this # Thank Y'all for the heads up! glad there are sites & decent people still around like this!

I have been getting numerous text messages from this number about a job I applied for. If it WAS real, a recruiter would pick up the phone and call you personally, not send a text message to call them back. I just typed STOP, but I am also reporting this number to the FTC as well.

I've  received a text from them, it says to call them back about the position  I applied, but they didn't say their Company name..so I rathered not to call them......Glad I checked the number before to give them a call...Thanks for the Info everyone.
