This number is for BMO for to survey recent customer service interaction.

got a call today 4:50, didn't answer .....they wouldn't hang up....still didn't answer.

I received a call from this number while I was out. I dialed it back and got a BMO recorded message. The message said that the reason I received a call from BMO was that they were conducting a survey because I had recently contacted them. That is true, I did contact BMO regarding some financial stuff yesterday, so it was just a survey to see how well their customer service is.

This phone number is a legitimate call from BMO. If you call it back it actually tells you its a call from BMO and that they are simply doing a followup call for feedback based on a previous call you had with them. I got the call yesterday but the day before i had to have my pin reset over the phone, so it is a legit call. You don't need to freak out.

Also, to the guy stating that the 855 is from another country,855 is like 1-800,888,877,866 in north america, it is a toll free number (sheesh).

so yes, it is legit, answer it if you want to provide feedback.

Got calls from this number twice at 5pm and 6pm today. I didn't answer the calls.

Received a call yesterday. Left a message for me to call back about potential fraud on my card. I called instead the number on the back of my card. They confirmed that the bank had identified a suspicious transaction and they cancelled my card and issued a new one. Oddly I got a call from the same number today and it was dead air.

This number is from BMO. They tell you if you don't want to answer question of a survey, just hang up,   No scam

i am working at BMO and I received the same phone call as well and then I reported the number to BMO fraud department.

855 is a generic toll free exchange dummy

I received a call at 5:35pm November / 4 / 2013.Not a number I recognizeand not to mention I'm an unlisted number.Some research brought me here.I hope these p...k's get nailed,no time for these foolish attempts at stealing my personal info.Beware of 1-855-235-0667 !

Called me twice today and I did not answer them.  No messages either and my number is unlisted.  Last time this happed to me years ago I went to the bank itself to find out why they kept calling me.  The teller wasn't aware of the calls and told me he would let the manager know.  Wasn't bothered after that so it was probably some sort of scam going on.

I just got two calls from this number, and they were BOTH at those exact times !!!!  Extremely fishy.

Like any other big company BMO is no better. They take our $ and then hire out of our country cheap labor. Bell Canada does the same in India & Philippines. Charges us max, hire at cheap salary outside our vountry to service Canadians. We should boycot these big money hustlers to make our point known. Take $ here, hire here.

It's BMO (Bank Of Montreal) trying to reach you to conduct a survey. This is typically done a day or two after you've called them to make an inquiry. If you call back the number it clearly tells you all this.

I got a call from them at 4:35 and 5:39, I answered the second time and they hang up! Was trying to take a nap as its my off time from work. Really annoying

Received call and went to voicemail with no message being left !! I called back and the automated message claims the were calling to conduct a survey for bank of Montreal ?? You think that a reputable bank would leave a message, therefore it sounds like some sort of  robocall / electronic scam !!

I don't answer toll free 800 service calls. The companies name SHOULD show on caller ID but it doesn't.

I have had three calls from this number today and every time I answer I say hello twice and they hang up. What the hell is going on?

Got the call today at quarter after three. I didn't answer it but if it was from someone claiming to be BMO, I could definitely find out as I do work at BMO.

They called at 3:00pm and 4:01pm today.  I didn't answer.
