Got a voice mail from someone who calls herself Audrey.I am constantly getting calls from these a??????? who change their name every time.

I have the same issue. It seems they are representing VIP loan shop. As a matter of fact I received a call today from an unknown number andthey lleft me a number below. According to them my case is pending a court date. I assumed this was a scam and asked them to send me paper work about the case. They told me they sent this but not by certified mail. 
Every other day I get the same restricted number and a message with 1 855-236-9171 as a call back.same song and dance how ever this has almost cost me my job twice now. Since their is no address that I can find I cannot send a cease and desist letter. They have even called my father and "references". Can anything be done?

Received a call from a women who claims to be a carrier. She wouldnt give me any information about herself. This is a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The scammers are calling From different numbers. 1(855)-378-6229....(949)-900-1701..855-236-8535..and from the 000000000.
My relative called today stating someone called her job claim they were calling from a firm to serve court papers she was stunned at the call asked if they were serving her and why. The man stated no he need to know where to get in touch with me could she get in touch with me because he had court order paper to issue me to appear in court that it was urgent. He left the name 1-855-236-8535 ext 47757 name grant white. Claim he got her number because i used her as contact which was huge lie.. I called and file a report with my local the police department after they called my relative job. And are continue calling harassing me. I have filed a report with every legal agency about his matter to try to get this scamming crime and harassing phone calls to stop.

I got these calls a few days ago about a bogus cash advance - which I never use - that was done about a year ago. I also had a Dave Addams calling me to deliver a package to be signed, but I needed a valid drivers license! Whatever. I called the number that he left on my voice mail 1-855-326-4621 and talked to a William Bradley who is the "senior advisor" there. He hung up on me after I asked him if this was a joke and had a bunch of legitimate questions. I also talked to an "assistant" that said that I should get a copy of my credit report to see if the charge is on there, and talked to another "assistant" that said it would be on my credit report. I put 2 and 2 together and relized that this is a scam. They have the wrong email address, and not even the right bank, address, or job that I work at. I will contact the Better Business Bureau if I have any more problems from these people.

Verify who they are.

It's a scam.   When a person is going to be served, no one is going to call you and tell you. Also they are not going to ask for ID.  If you call the number DO NOT give out your address, they should have it on file.  Then play their game back.  I  asked them to mail a  statement with the balance.(do not give out your address) I also asked for  their Tax ID so I can verify who.

I'm having the same problem right now.  I have this Dave Adams calling me wanting to deliver certified papers to me.  Supposedly came to my address.  Said I needed to have a valid id to get the papers, and nothing. Number came up as blocked

Kevin called my husbands work so many times, hundreds in one day, and cussed out everyone who answered.  They called the sheriff's dept & this guy cussed him out in outlandish, filthy language.  Really interesting.  The debt he was calling about had actually been filed under a bankruptcy about 7 years ago...

I have received a phone call from Mike supposedly in my area the past 2 days. I have not called the number back. Is this legit or what exactly is it? I am not going to have him meet me at my home, in this day and age who lets strangers come to your home? I supposedly have a file number of 303300.

i got that call today and the guy use a last name that i havent use i 4 yrs so that right there was a red bell for me nothing i do is ever in that name lol i ask him who is this h said michael wolf lol i said what do you want he said i have a letter you and i assume you know what its about i told him nope she dont and thats not my last night i told him well if its legal papers take them to my laywer lol he said i need you to sign i told him he handle anything legal at that point he said i have 2 days to get this to you i said really well seems to me its not going to happen he then said you can call 855 2367 9171 file# 299913 like im really going to call i have been got before and it was all from answer my cell phone it hacked into my bank account dont know how but they did FYI any number you dont know dont anwer them and never give out you info ijs

These people buy your debt for less than you owe then when you pay them they keep the difference.you might be able to pay less than you owe ,try working with them it  might work out better for you in the long run and save your credit rating you can,t get anything with out good credit nowdays ,house ,car loan,ect

Ignore these people. They try to scare u but call their bluff. They will go away.

I got the same phone call today from Larry.. Said he was in the area and would be stopping by, and to make sure I have my photo id ready to receive the documents, unless I called the 855-236-9171 number, he would be deliviering the documents... SMH. I hate scammers. After reading these posts I didn't call back.

All - I've gotten 2 voicemail calls from them in 2 days. It shows up on my cell phone as "BLOCKED" so of course I don't pick up.  I've gotten a call like this a couple months back with the caller as a different name saying the same thing that I need an ID and to be home at whatever time to sign for papers and if they can't find me at home they will come to my work.  Well it's a scam - I have yet to see papers and I know I need to fix my credit but if you don't receive any papework and just an automated message, don't give out any personal info if you don't want to be a victim.

I got the same call sayin that i got in unpayed bill to send them 800 dollar and said they were coming by my home and job but didnt show up they are sick people i am still waiting

I got a call saying they need to speak to me regarding the documents they received.  It was imperative that I return the call by 6:00pm or have my legal counsel call them to stop any charges from being pressed against me.  This is a scam and if enough people would ban together and not return these calls they will stop!!

I hate people who lie like this to get you to call them back!!

dawn,  first off,   I question the authenticity of your post.  However,  on the oft chance that someone else may be wondering what to do,  let me suggest that you put on your big boy/girl pants and take care of your own problem by simply using common sense.
1.  You talk to your supervisor and let them know what is happening.  They will tell the caller to cease all calls.
2.  You check all three credit bureaus, then act accordingly.
3.  You do understand that this is a scam? Treat it like one. (I would suggest your husband also use "liar, liar, pants on fire"  This can be very effective.

One final note:  Word of caution:  Many shills (Scam Booster)  can and do post here on this board and pretend to be victims.

Yes....and you're not getting serviced.   A scare tactic to get you to call and then they will offer to make a settlement to make the bad dream go away.   Then they will fleece your and your bank account.

My husband answered the phone and yelled at thomas edwards saying your number is posted all over the internet your a scam. The guy kept trying to talk, but my husband wouldnt he kept saying scam! scam! scam! So the next day we get a call from a blocked # from a samantha AT MY WORK telling my co-worker I need to sign documents. How do i get rid og this or is my Credit ruined?

The only ones that I have ever heard say that they had  been served  was a shill (scam booster)  trying to make others think that they really were served.  (Trying to give validity to their scam)

In other words,  to make a long story short or  a short story long,   It's just an attempt to frighten
people into calling them and making a hasty decision when they offer a settlement to make everything go away.

First of all, if you're going to be served papers for anything, they do NOT call first!  That should be your first clue that these a******* are not legit!  If you feel you MUST talk to them, do not agree to anything, just tell them to mail the information to your address on file (DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR ADDRESS OR "CONFIRM" IT!  Again, if they were legit, they'd have it.)  Guaranteed you will not ever get papers.  They're bottom-feeding 3rd party debt collectors.  Never answer a phone number you don't know and DON'T be intimidated by their empty threats of coming to your work to arrest you.

Also this guy is calling my work. I'm am getting really pissed
