This company calls just about every single day demanding that I schedule a "lease end inspection" on my vehicle.  I know they are the contracted service for Audi-Bentley, and I suspect other car brands.  I have repeatedly told them that, as I always do, I will have my car inspected by the car dealer when I order/pick-up my new car.
SGS threatened to repossess my car (which is paid off in full I might add) if I do not schedule an inspection with them, to trespass on my property to do an inspection whenever they feel like it (their words), and that they "will not be liable for damages that the dealer will make to the vehicle due for inspection."  I did call Audi-Bentley Customer Service, who was appalled at these tactics and agreed I should be allowed to do a dealer inspection, and said they would immediately notify SGS to have my number removed from the call list.  Audi Customer Service did give me a follow-up call to see if SGS stopped, but the calls from SGS keep coming!

State Farm wouldn't make calls like that. Sounds like a collection agency that is seriously breaking the law- look up the Fair Debt Collection Act- If you receive a call from them again, write down the date, time, get the name of the person calling, and make notes of ANY threats towards you, for a law suite, garnished wages etc. and report them!!! Or, let them leave a message on your voicemail and keep it as proof.

The message mentions going to a web site to schedule an appointment. Appointment for what?  The web address mentioned in the voicemail is so garbled it's hard to understand.  Sounded like sTsauto,com, or sDsauto.com...eventually I figured out that it's sGsauto.com

Maybe change your message to say "S as in Sam...G as in George...S as in Sam...auto.com"  That would be considerate.

Now I see that they want to schedule an on-site inspection for a car that is coming off lease in a couple of months.  Their voicemail was cut off at the beginning so I didn't hear that part.

All around, a totally unprofessional message from sGsauto.  Glad to get rid of this POS car anyway.

These people called me several times this year claiming to give out free cruises, they were process servers, sheriffs, police and lawyers from different phone numbers with different caller ID names, but never stated they were from RPA until today. They spoof the numbers making it look like it came from one place when it came from the other and tell you they have a summons with your name on it, and then leave a case # and different phone # to call back.

I get "Out of Area" on my caller ID, and I believe them to be related to Portfolio Recovery,Portfolio Litigation Services LLC  and some other Litigation Group . Today the caller ID read Upland CA.  All of these numbers are supposedly linked together and based out of Ca and WA. Here are some of their other phone #s:

They are officially shut down now!!! Secretary of state in MA shut them down a couple months ago.

Oh no they aren't.  They just changed the name of the company, changed the names they use when calling people, and changed the phone numbers they use (but they are spoofed numbers anyway so ), But they still use the same scare tactics. They are now fully shut down. I worked their for 2 weeks before I quit. So too many illegal practices and didn't want my good name associated with that.

I got a call from this number.  I generally do not even answer calls from numbers I do not recognize but I did pick up on this one.  My house was silent and I did NOT say hello or anything else. If you do this, usually there is no one on the line............if you speak, it triggers the caller to know someone has answered. Otherwise, the call just disconnects. Try it, it works pretty well!!

The company is owned by Mike Galavayo its a debt collector. They try to scare you into paying a debt thats not even yours if it exists at all. Call him yourself and give him your case number if he tries to do the same thing sue the crap out of them. I am he himself tried to threaten me but I turned the tables on them and I will be seeing them in court. Oh yeah his personal number is 714-465-8581. But whatevr you do DONT give them your information. They even give out false addresses as well.

IT is a big scam. i worked for them and its all BS. Some times they add on a few tousand to the bill just for the hell of it. And anything on here saying its real, is written by Mike the boss. They treat their employees like s*** if they are not doing a good enough job scamming people. Half of the people calling are using drugs on the job, and there is NO litigation department or legal anything... you will NEVER be taken to court, This company is located next to a hair salon in a tiny crappy building.... it is a dark little office with a few cubicles and people on the phones. Mike is the boss and he has serious issues, he is extremely insecure and uses his job to make other people feel like s*** all day. So... If you recieve a call from these people... just IGNORE it NEVER pay them and HANG UP!

I recieved a call from Nathan Peak.  I tried to discuss the matter with him.  He was not making much sense and he had many of his facts completely wrong in regards to my personal information.  I requested some sort of prrof of the debt.  He put me on hold.  When they came back on, it was his "supervisor" Johnathon Plante. He told me that he was not going to send validation.  He then went on to read me all outstanding debts that were listed on my credit report. (This should have been none of his business as it does not pertain to the fraudulent claim he was calling about).  He offered to settle for a third of what he claimed I owe.  I admit, this would have been a great deal...If it were my debt.  I offered to work with him, I just needed to see proof of the original debt.  It is very possible that something from 6 years ago could have slipped from my memory.  Especially since the balance is relatively low.  
He said people like me are all the same.  He said I was trying to stall.  He also would not provide me with an account number or an address that a payment could be sent to.  The only way to handle it was to give him my account number over the phone and he would withdraw the money.  I am sorry, but it is extremely dangerous to give ANYONE you account info over the phone, let alone someone you have never heard of and who refuses to give you proof of the debt they say you owe them.  If I get served, then so be it.  Maybe then, I will finally get the paperwork I have requested.  At least then, there will be a paper trail of the dealings with this company.  
I have set up the means to record the conversation if they call back.  I will inform them up front that the call is being recorded and we'll see how many federal laws they are willing to break while being recorded.

First I just want to point out that the homophobic statement was illegal and discriminatory. According to the FTC you have just violated one of the regulations regarding how you may treat a debtor when attempting to collect a debt. You have verbally(written) abused this person...not ethical at all.  Also, I called your office only to be hung up on multiple times by the director. I was also refused verification of the debt in accordance to the FTC...so I sent a written certified letter asking for that and also stating that I dispute the validation of my alleged debt...so some,if not all, of your statements are incorrect...just your name on display is crude and distasteful :( Get some class.

I reported ECG to the FTC today about half an hour after the director hung up on me...He verbally abused me and berated me. He also got very argumenative towards me when I requested debt verification. I sent out a certified and overnighted letter demanding verification of the debt according to the FCDP act(or however its spelled lol...Im tired now) and that I am disputing the validity of any portion of the debt. I also stated, even though it is illegal to do anyways, that abuse and harrasment will not be tolerated. The FTC said to let them know if my letter doesnt retrieve any results...and YES it is a debt collection agency..and BTW going to court isn't a bad thing unless you know youre in the wrong....I hope they take me to court lol...I would be taking a branch managers job out from under him though before it is over...that is a story for another time though. Please please always demand proof of your debts! Do this in writing via certified mail...If they take you to court file a sworn denial and most important---SHOW UP! If you do not show, the judgement is automatically granted..you have to show for your own sake! Get balls and deal with the courts...it will be absolutely worth it...and F*** YOU ECG :) HAVE A NICE F****N DAY

These people called and stated that I had a pending case filed against me and demanded that I make payment to them. I didn't kow any better so I set up payments. I am now going to stop payment to my bank.
