If you answer the phone and say "hello" the automated phone system recognizes the response and patches you through to a live operator.  It was Time Warner Cable . The telemarketer told me that they could possibly save me some money on my cable bill ..........and then they hung up on me without telling me how !  Marketing professionals  ??

i answered and no one was there.  i think it is an automated recording but not sure.  i am blocking it from now on.

Received call from this number on my cell phone, rang a few times and hung up before I answered.

another unknown caller that drives me crazy constantly.  won't leave messages.
