dan davis from this number called and said I didn't pay 300 on a payday loan in 2009. said that the company was taking me to court for bad checks and if I wanted to settle I could pay 200 within 2 days.  I had no knowledge of this past due debts so I did some investagating and called their company phone number back and they would aswer and hang up. then they stopped answering at all.  and 855-238-6520 404-334-7499. the law firm dosn't exist and I called my lawyer and he told me that this is a fraud and to tell them that I will file a consumer fraud complaint.  i knew it sounded suspecious. its a fraud and do not send money.

Just got a new cell # and got at least 3 msgs on voice mail stating I had one day to call them back and resolve some legal issue or they would take legal action.  Completely bogus.  I think they are trying to get social security numbers and am going to report them at least to my cell carrier.

Calls from phone number 855-238-6058. Left a messge for a nearly unintelligible name that was not mine, nor was it similar.  

The recorded message said, "Your ss# has been linked to a case in which you are being linked to a case in which you are being accused of malicious attempts to defraud a financial institution, the passing of a bad check, and passing of electronic instruments over state lines.  We have sent notices to you in the past regarding this case.  Unfortunately, you have not seen fit to communicate with our office which leads us to believe your intentions are not to resolve this matter voluntarily. Unless we hear from you immediately today with information on how we can amicably resolve this case we will seek to have you prosecuted.  You can reach our office at 855-238-6058 and refer to case number CNG***"

I did not return the call, but did a reverse lookup on the internet to find out who the number belonged to.  The number was not able to be identified and I found this site with several complaints/information regarding this self-same number, so decided to add this experience to the list.  What a horrible nasty message to randomly leave on people's voice mail!  My guess is that this is a scam - person(s) who are actually in some other country collecting money from people who do return the call - possibly even taking that payment information and defrauding them even further....

That same number keeps calling and leaving me the recording on my voicemail about summons and electronic fraud across state lines.... At first I thought it was legit because they were asking for exboyfriendwho just so happened to move to a different state when we broke up. I called the number a few times at different times during the day. Everytime all I got was a answering machine and no real info on the company at all. My Ex claimed it was a scam. I didnt belive him at first but, now Im sure that it definately is fraud!!!!!7 I left them a messege to leave me the hell alone... We will see.

I just recieved a call from this number 855-238-6058, and they are saying that i owe on a bad check saying that I could be charged with fraud, and crossing state lines, with the malicious intent to cause fraud.  This is regarding an old payday loan I paid off.  I tried to call to get my name off their list and all I get is recording stating to leave my information.  I will do no such thing.  If you want to talk to me have a live person contact me period.  I filed a BBB complaint and have contacted the FBI.

They called my mother in california and I live in Ohio,they did the same thing to me.I called the FTC and gave a complaint on them,and they said its a payday scam that somebody hacked into possbily and got your info to scare you into paying them,disregard them and put a block on that number

These numbers which all are attached to this scam about a debt owed back in 2007 are as follows:
1-800-327-1615, 1-866-247-5865, 578-121-8324, 855-238-6058 & the last for now is 855-269-5146.
This was a 350 dollar loan, which I was told was 1800 and some change, but then kept lowering after I made a few payments, but I stopped paying after I had given them 350 of the original then I stopped paying because of trusted family members saying it might be a scam & to send no more money.  Harrassment & many different numbers, drives a person nuts!!!

I just got a call from them too. Freaked me out. I searched all my records and bank account info and nothing came up as changed. They left a weird case number and said they had my social security number. Scary as hell! I tried to call them back but the voicemail was full and it was very weird.

I got a call saying they are investigating me for electronic fraud and if I don't reply by end of day today they will start prosecution. I did not call the number. I do not know what they are talking about.

Well Mr. Williams.  Can you please explain to my why I receive harrasing telephone calls from your company several times a day directed at a woman I don't know but have come to hate?  I have called back and asked that my number be removed from your database.. it never happens.  Your company is not the only one calling for this woman.  This harrassment has been going on for several years.. I even had sheriff's deputies on my doorstep twice to serve this woman summons.  We are moving and I promise my new number will be unlisted.  I pitty the poor soul that gets the old number.

i received a nasty call from these schmucks stating i must be available so they can deliver a court summons and if im not available theyll have my drivers licence revoked.

This company called and left the message that they needed my address to serve me with some court papers to apear in court the number they originaly called from was 1-877-624-2863 but the number they wanted me to give a call back to was 1-855-238-6058.This scam is starting again and these people need to be stoped i have already contacted my lawyer for this has been discharged in my bankruptcy as of september of 2011

The above person saying their bank account was frozen is lying.  It is part of the "scare scam."  The person is with the company.  Do not return their calls and contact your local county attorney.  Simply don't play.

Same information as above caller.  Stay home between these hours so I can be served a warrant or something.  I called back and left a message asking to have my name removed from their call list and told them I would not be staying home.   I asked for a call back.  Complete scam to gather information.   Probably best to ignore and not call them back.

You did not check the debt on at least one person. The ssi was incorrect, drivers license was incorrect. he did not work . never went to a credit union , nor had a pay loan . SO ??? I am now forced to get Attoney general involved , I will get Florida involved with this because you DID NOT do your homework as you sa=tasted in your blog. Paul Jones needs to be called on this Collection agency's should look at debt before collection . Not all debts are worthy.

Just contacted a consumer affairs atty about these idiots.. they are breaking so many laws with the FCRA..they  are bottom feeders trying to collect on old debt from payday loans. Everything they say is BS.. even the post about the frozen bank act, they probaly put that post in here themselfs. The recording about being served is bs, they provided no address city or state and its not a legal practice for a process server to contact anyone by phone especialy by recorded message. I have reported these folks to the attorney general for the state of missouri and also the state of Nevada and I was told they have an ongoing file on this co Paul Jones Asso, and the state of missouri is activitly investigating thier ilegal collection practices.Dont let these goof balls intimadate you with there BS, report them to the Attorney General of your state or call a consumer affairs attorney, yoou can google a consumer affairs lawyer, there is no cost to you, the FCRA will pick up the cost of the attorney to rep you in stopping unfair illegal collection efforts its the law... do not let these people tell you otherwise,,all you have to do is call a consumer affairs attorney or the FCRA and they will confirm this,, in most cases you are also intitle to damages and can sue these bottom feeders at no cost to you.....

Got a call from 877-624-2863 telling me to call the number you are all referencing.  Threated that I would be served a warrant and wanted me home to serve me.  I paid the payday loan in 2009 and have the paperwork.  Going to use your advice when they call again.

got a call from this number left a voice mail on my work phone, stating that a process server is out in my county to serve me the documents otherwise my drivers license would be suspended and a citation number was left, ive never had a citation issued to me.

Ken called me and told me that I was being investigated for check fraud and theft of service, so I was thinking it was a scam and I looked up the number and found all of the post on here. So I did nothing and the calls stopped, but then a month later my checking account was frozen, when I called the bank they gave me a 716 # to a company in buffalo NY it was the account that the Paul Jones jerk called me about. My atty was no help he offered to help me, not for free thou he said I could filed bk which would have been $700 or something, but I did not have that much debt, then he said we can go after the Paul Jones guys, but I can't pay for that either, so in the end I had to pay this payday loan to get my checking account unfrozen, cause I do have bills. I just wanted to post this because I came on here to see what was good with this company and I am not blaming this site, but I kind of ignored it because of all the post. My lawyer said that the people on here are just upset consumers who have not paid there debts and it was my fault for listening them.

I got a recorded message from this company. Few others too. I don't know what this is about since I never got a loan or debt of any kind. Asked my bank they don't know any problems with my account. I pay everything on time when due or sooner. It's really starting to piss me off! Do I report them to FBI or what?

I got 5~8 calls from them too. Something about electronic fraud?  The bank didn't see any problems on my account. I reported them to FTC do not call registry.
