I don't give a f*ck if you're calling on behalf of my cell carrier, don't call me. Period.
It doesn't matter what you're peddling, I don't care. You're just another nuisance call on my prepaid phone.
I get plenty of text spam as it is, this is uncalled for. I pay too much for airtime to put up with this crap.
For what its worth, I've now added my # to the National do-not-call list, but being as its my own cell carrier
doing this, I don't see how it will help.
And I tried the Yo Yo Ma Ma technique and the "reject settings" thing goes nowhere.
If I could afford to answer and tell them directly to f*ck off, I would. Apparently their English is poor so they might not get the concept.

Your phone should have Call Reject in Settings. First add number to contacts as Virgin then Call Settings, then Call Reject, then Add New Number from Contacts. Bye bye Bi***!

I have been receiving these calls from this phone number for the past few days both in the afternoon and in the evening.   It is a Virgin Mobile marketing number.  I did not answer any of these calls until today where they promptly hung up on me.  I called back and they hung up on me again!!!!  I am currently on a prepaid plan so  do not at all appreciate this!  I called Virgin Mobile customer service yesterday and was transferred a total of 4 times before I had to hang up.  I also did the live chat on their site and their custom service rep assured me that my name would be taken off of the marketing/sales call list...but more calls today!!!  Called VM again today and was again, told my name would be taken off the list.  I plan on reporting them to the govt. and suggest you do the same.  Here is a link...

I am receiving unwanted phone calls, how do I make them stop?

The CAFC cannot block telephone numbers. We recommend that you ask to be put on the telemarketer's own do not call list. You can also register your number on the Do Not Call List web site at www.dncl.gc.ca or by phone at 1-866-580-3625. If the calls continue, contact your telephone provider directly and file a complaint. You will need the name or number of the organization. Consider subscribing to a call blocking service or add the number to your call block list, if you can program this feature. If the calls are of a harassing or threatening nature report the incident to your local law enforcement.

Why am I being called by telemarketers if I am on the Do Not Call List?

The DNCL applies nationally but not internationally, it also does not prevent fraudulent telemarketing calls. Criminal organizations do not follow the rules and regulations set by the CRTC. Organizations that you have conducted business with in the past, and, some designated organizations such as charities, political parties and newspapers looking for subscriptions, are authorized under the legislation to contact you. 3 times in 2 days and it shows nothing but the number! If it is indeed virgin, I'd love for them to stop. I do pay as you go so everytime they call it eats up my minutes!!!!!

Why not leaving messages? If you identify yourselves I might call you back... otherwise these phonecalls are harassing in nature, so please stop ringing my cell all day long if your not going to leave a message!

Every night so far since Saturday 8:30, 9:30, 10:30pm it's annoying and a waste of time since I won't answer it.
