Just called - dead line and I wish they were too !!!

I don't have a secretary. I don't have a waiting room. I don't have a need to entertain clients.  I DON'T NEED TV. I just use my personal internet and telephone service to conduct business.  My husband is the owner and is on a jobsite from 7am to 7pm.  I don't need a foreign company that is contracted by a company to ROBO my house and fill my answering machine with hang-ups.  Three calls or more constitutes harassment and is illegal! If I could get documentation that this is contracted by TWC,  I would say lets file a class action suit.

I do not answer when this number calls.  However, when I try to call back to see who this is, the operator says this number is no longer in service.  Several calls from this exact number several times a day.

Call from same number, answer and say hello, nothing. I make sales calls all day and don't understand why you would take the time to call my business and then not speak. Whatever, closing rate must be awesome!

Got a call from this number.  He ask to speak with Exxx.  I ask who was calling and he said Bob with Time Warner.  I ask Exxx if he wanted to speak with Bob of Time Warner and he said NO.  I then told Bob that he was not available and ask to take a message.  Bob said he would call back later.  I have repeatedly told the so called Time Warner Representatives that we gave their service a try and that it did not work for us but they keep calling back.  So what Bob or any other Time Warner Representative should know is that regardless of who you ask for - you have to go through me to get to them and therefore it will not be happening.  So you might as well give up.  I can do this all day, everyday.  

We receive calls from this number at our business anywhere from 5-10 times a day and they always hang up as soon as we answer the phone.

We're getting multiple calls a day from this number on our office number.  They never leave a message.  The caller ID only says 800 Service.  I think this is the 4th time today...

Got a call from this number this morning asking me about my phone and internet service.  When I told him that I was busy and not interested the guy on the other end of the line told me to go "F" myself and hung up.  

Zander said he was trying to lower our TWC Business Class internet and phone bill by adding television services and giving us new discounts. We are already receiving television for free, so I asked him if he can access my account or see my bill, and he said no, but his supervisor can. I asked if he was even with TWC, and he insisted he was. I said okay, how much for the new bill with your discounts, and he couldn't tell me that either. When asked to hold for his supervisor, I hung up. They called back, and I had my assistant tell them we are not going to speak with them.

Offshore I think, poor English in any case, idiots continue to call and cannot even say my (very common) name.
I've changed their name to No.No.No. and will not answer them again.  It'd be just like Time Warner to hire the
cheapest rudest people on the planet and put them in a room full of the same and give them auto-dialers which
is why the dead lines.  When nobody is available to harass you the machine hangs up.  Don't worry, these
fools always call back.  Any company seeking my business had best be using Americans and no auto-dialing,
waste my time and see how much I love you.  If a phone company wanted to invent a service how about a way
to block these idiots permanently.

But just to also make a point -  My home phone number, my personal cell phone number and all of my families home/personal cells are listed on the DNC Registry and we all still receive telemarketer/bull-XXXX calls.  So again, being on the DO NOT CALL LIST is still a load of crap!  By the way have a great day, Slim.

The DNC list is NOT for business phone numbers.
Evidently you did not read the information at
https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0108-national-do-not-call-registry
which includes this statement:
"Can I register my business phone number or a fax number?
The National Do Not Call Registry is only for personal phone numbers. Business-to-business calls and faxes are not covered by the National Do Not Call Registry."

We keep getting calls from this number.  Each time they do not say anything.  We are a business and we DO have all of our numbers listed on the DO NOT CALL LIST - not that it does one ounce of good.  There should be a way for the government to stop this crap - WAIT ! Sorry I just had a blonde moment - What was I thinking - our government LOL !

it is an automated phone mining program. The owner (whoever it is) is mining for live phone line numbers to sell.
