how can you attempt to collect on debts are that are 1. well beyond the statute of limitations.   2. changing the charge off date 3. changing the principle amount.   BY LAW YOU CANNOT DO THAT.   4. attempting to collect on someone that has filed bankruptcy.    

and when the "company" that is seeking the payment HAS NO RECORD OF THE DEBT.    get a clue.

If I were you,   I would find a legitimate job and stop trying to steal from people.   NONE OF THE MONEY YOU COLLECT GOES TO THE COMPANIES THAT YOU ARE REPRESENTING.         and yes I am an attorney for a firm that goes after agencies like yours.

I received two calls from this number (855-248-0811).  The first time, they said they would remove my number as I was NOT the person who this was intended for.  Today I received another saying there was hearing and I was a respondent in this case, also said there was a restraining order, this was on a voice mail. so I called back.  I was once again not the person this was intended for so I asked why am I being called again? She said they would remove my name and number, but she was very rude when I asked why am still being called.  She hung up on me which made me very angry.  So I called back and said "Don't f****n hang up on me again and tell me WHY you're still calling me. She hung up on me again and I called back.  Bottom line, she said she was going to remove me from this claim.  I told her she better and she or anyone else in this place better never call me again!

Have been getting calls for the past week from a company saying they were from a lawyers from a company that was trying to contact me in order to serve me for a lawsuit. I told them that I was laid off had no means to pay the debt at this time since I was laid off right after going back to work from having a baby. So I can barely feed my family and keep a roof over our heads and have only been able to find temporary work. I told them I have every intention of paying it back but at this moment I cannot. They said they would be sueing me so I said ok, I have nothing for them to take and they hung up. I just got a visit from my landlord saying that he had received a call from them saying that I had to be found to be served. The last thing I want is to lose my place to live. Is it legal for them to contact my landlord? I do have a lawyer that I think could help but do not have the money to try and fight them, seeing it would probably cost more than the $1200 debt. Any advice how to go about this?

I don't want anyone to get mad at me but I was an employee for IAMinc. Let's just get to the nitty gritty... I moved into Washington from out of state and was desperate for a job. Towards the end of January I saw an add in Seattle craigslist so I sent a resume and they answered. I was told to come in for "orientation" on Feb, 4th... so I did. I was afraid it would be a collection agency and it was but I needed the money. I worked for them for one week and quit because it was horrible! The one week I was there I saw about 50 different people come and go. It's been 35 day's since I quit and they are refusing to pay me! This place makes me sick and I will be back soon with more information about then including a phone number and address!!!

My son, myself, his wife, his father and other family members have been getting the same type of threatening phone calls from this number and other like it, from I.A.M., Inc. -- which supposedly stands for Integrated Acquisitions and Management, Inc. (which is a chemical engineering business; I checked!).  Again, same stuff--saying it is an outstanding credit card debt for my son, blah, blah, blah; will not provide any further information; will not supply you with debt information; nothing except saying they want to work out a payment plan.  Please, people, DO NOT say YES to any of that stuff!!  Everyone is right.  This is a scam operation.  They are attempting to scare you into paying them some kind of money.  And they call and call and call, even if you do not answer.  They call my son's father, and when he answers, they hang up on him after he says hello.  Duhhh .... Do report to your State Attorney General's Office and the Federal Trade Commission, the BBB, and to the state of Washington's Attorney General's Office.  Someone in power somewhere has to be able to stop these people!  If anyone knows who/what/where, we will join a class action suit against them.  I put debt collector as call type, but they say they are a "mediation firm" ... I work for attorneys; they are NOT mediating anything.

First calls from IM&R then IAM and now a company called New Leaf Solutions.  Are these still the same guys?  They have the same area code as the other 2.  New Leaf doesn't have a website but the have a Facebook page.  Does anyone know anything about them?

This company is a SCAM!!!! They called saying I owe money the Mt. Brighton. When I asked how it is possible they could no give me an answer. I asked them for the date of the debt and the last four digits of the form of payment. I was told they do not have that information. BULLSH*T. I asked what bank this is in refernce to NOTHING...

Beware they may trick you into verifying the information by providing you with an old address. In my case they used an address from 2002 and my maiden name. They told me to pay the $25.58 I owe today or I will be taken to court. They never tried to get my current address when I told them I haven't lived at this address for over a decade. They are very agressive on the phone and use scare tacticts to make you pay. Before you end the conversation get the name of the creditor, the amount they claim you owe and the date of the transaction. DO NOT EVER GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO OR CHECKING INFO OVER THE PHONE until the debt is verrified. Verify the debt from the source if they say you owe Ford call Ford. DO NOT GIVE IN!!!!!


They now go by the name of IAM  Integrity Account Management and call from either (425) 374-4341 or  (800) 784-1047. Do not verify any of your information or pay them anything. More than likley if there ever was a debt it is past the Statute of Limitations in your state.

Know you rights and don't give in. These people are SCUM.

Oh and IAM Stop calling me I have sent you a Letter of Dispute three weeks ago which I have copies of. I also have every voicemail and recorded every time I talked to you. Your actions at this point are unjust!!!

These people are scam artist and collecting attempting to collect on debts that are way passed the statue of limitations debts that are 18-25 years old. I too have received calls from them when they were IMR now they are called IAM and now they calling from a number of 800-784-1047 but when you call that number a recording come on and say front desk and then place you hold and no one ever comes to the phone and then the recording comes back on and say to leave a message.

You need to report them to the State Attorney General's Office in the state of Washington.  Also, report them to your state attorney general's office.  This is a scam.  Do not give them any of your information!!!  I just started laughing at them and told them what I found out them.  They have not called me back.  Good Luck!

I was receiving calls from IM&R and now I'm getting calls from IAM who say they bought my "account" from them when they went out of business.  I can't even find out what IAM stands for.  They are relentless and since I haven't had a credit card for 9 years, I don't know whrer these people are coming from or getting their information.  Does anyone know how to make them stop?  Does anyone have any info on what IAM stands for?

My daughter used to work with them under anther name. It is a scam do not give then any money. Even the employees are being scammed and threatened. They hire the young girls and down on there luck people plus ex fellows to make there money then they don't get paid.

The new company name is IAM IMR and you may be told this company is based in Nevada. Not a chance. Bothell is correct. The debts may be valid that I don't know about, but I do know anything you pay will go directly into Randall Goins pocket and nowhere else, not employees not bills.... Your $$ pay for cocaine and hookers while his unsuspecting employees suffer with no pay for weeks on end.

Tell them you need it writing, But it sounds like a scam. Also check the statute of limitations in your state 1986 was a long time ago

My husband and i just received a call from these people today, with the same type of language as described above. As far as I know, we do NOT have any out-standing debts either. But this is the SECOND time they called this month and we received a couple of calls from them earlier this year as well. (They have even called MY SISTER-IN-LAW, looking for my husband!!! Now that's creepy!!!) All of the calls are left as messages on my answering machine so they are all recorded and I am leaving them on there for evidence. Thank you to all of you who posted your experiences here so that we could have more of an idea of what we are really dealing with here. I guess the next step is that we should report them and then maybe someday they will stop their sub-human behavior.

Tey have done the same with me! They called my deceased grandmothers phone!!! My father lives there now but its still the same number. He just called me and told me and said he thought it was important! I have no clue why these people are calling this number - its a state away even! Im so furious right now Im not sure what to do! Legal action? Really? i have perfect credit! What kind of scam is this company? Im going to report them on the BBB site! They left a message from 425-409-5113- Julius Romero and 855-248-4369- Scott! These people are out of control! Isnt there a law against this?

Thank you Peter Kennedy for posting this information. I am saving it in case these scammers call me again, threatening to sue somebody who doesn't even live here and who I've never heard of! Somebody needs to shut these guys down.

I've gotten two calls from this company so far, both for people I've never heard of. Both times I called right back and was told it was an error and they would make a note not to call me again. This last time I wanted to know what they were doing calling me in the first place - where did they get my number? Just robocalling anyone whose name starts with D? The guy tried to tell me my number was "associated with the file", and maybe it was somebody else's number before it was mine. Yeah right. I've had this number for more than 20 years. I KNOW I have no debts outstanding. I also KNOW you don't serve people a Notice of Intent on their answering machine. The first message i got was from a woman; the one today was a man, going by the name Justin Smith. The messages they left me were for two different people both with names similar to mine. An elderly person could easily be confused by these scummy tactics. I am not a lawyer and don't claim to be, but I know a scam when I hear one. These people are scammers, pure and simple. I hope "lawgirl" succeeds in finding them and suing the crap out of them. And people like you, JMEE425, who try to smear the victims of this type of crime, are just as scummy. You enable creeps like this to keep doing what they're doing by insisting that everybody they target is the real scumbag. You probably work for this outfit.

I got a call from IMR for a debt that I do not owe. They called and left a message at my place of work threatening me with legal action. I just filed a compliant with my state's attorney general office against them. I suggest all of you do the same.
