Shills usually have a fondness for all caps, but this one seems to love the dots ....

But dots, caps, illiteracy, and all the other common shill traits don't fool anyone here. Begone, lying scumbag Mi-shill, and please DO let the door hit your rear on the way out. Maybe it will help put out the fire in your pants.

businessgrantsnow Its a complete scam. I didnt have money at first, had her call back, she said she was from business solutions. One time fee of  $199, she said if I didnt recieve a grant I would get a refund. I had to sign and fax a form, the day the fax was sent my card was charged. When i tried to log in I was rejected. When i called I was told the fax didnt go through and I needed to send it again, even though I'd been charged.Very suspicious at this point i refused to resend the fax and asked for the promised refund. She straight out refused to refund and insists I need to sign and resend the fax. I fear if I do resend the fax it will authorize another payment. I havent spoken to anyone in months, phone just rings and rings. Its a scam, I got duped, dont pay!!!

I used the company businessgrantsnow.com to try and get a small business grant and they told me that could do it and blah blah blah...

Turns out this company is just a glorified business plan writing service. They just write your business plan and then tell you to send it out to companies yourself.

Tried to get my refund and they wouldn't give it to me until I got denied for a grant.

So good call on posting the BBB report that states they have multiple complaints about getting refunds because that actually tells allot about the company. That says they could not find them a grant and they are trying to get the refund. Also the business plan software they use is not up to business plan standards and all it did was waste business owners time. So since everyone prior only posted responses about how it's illegal to pay for a grant without knowing how a service works and that the $199 is for a service to get the grant. No one posted about any success stories about receiving a grant from them or anything from this company. So who ever posted http://www.grants.gov/ was dead on. It tells you everything you need to get a grant and you better register with the D&B before you look for a grant. Oh and watch for that scam too just tell them you want a free D&B # and you are fine!!!

Good one Subedo!  My first question was going to be,  "Why don't you ask your sister to prepare the documents?"   but as a pre-emptive move,  you said   "But she's too busy"  My question is,  Well,  if she is in business,  why don't you consider yourself a customer, and give her your business?   AND PAY HER!!!

Gina,  you have a speech typing  impediment or are lacking in basic English 101.   My guess, judging by the way that you drop articles and misuse prepositional phrases,  is that you are probably either in the Balkins or Eastern Europe.  You could be India or Pakistani,  but I'm going with Eastern Europe.  Either way,  you are a big old Shill and trying to Boost the scam....

On the left side of the grants.gov page, you can file your own application to be considered for a grant. This application may just be the SAME application this company is charging you $199 for. Read through the grants.gov site, look for grants on the grants search link on the right side of that page, and fill out that application on the left side. Best of luck.

You'll be paying $199 for generic paperwork, that's all. If you think this is worth it, go for it. I advise you NOT to because I think you can do the paperwork yourself AFTER you find grants that you may be eligible for. My guess is there are VERY FEW IF ANY grants that you will qualify for. This company pumps up your hopes and dreams with POSSIBLE grants you MAY qualify for but the real truth is there are VERY FEW IF ANY grants you WILL qualify for. If grants are easy to get, there will be MILLIONS of people applying for and getting them, do you think this is likely in the face of our 16? 17? Trillion dollar national debt and the looming fiscal cliff? Federal grants are here  http://www.grants.gov/

All you've done is pay $199 for 30 pages of a generic template where you simply enter your own details into the blanks. Good luck on flogging that generic template.

businessgrantsnow.com was registered on 02/06/2012 to a domain proxy by an owner who does NOT want to be found. A domain proxy is a "front" company that registers websites for owners so the real owners don't have to put their names down on the registrations. I would NOT NOT NOT deal with this company, especially when they charge money up front. Seems to me any legit grant writing company can wait to be paid until people get their grants. Don't fall for the refund-if-no-grant BS, if they are willing to give a refund guarantee, it would be no different than charging you on the back end instead of up front, AFTER you have your grant in hand and have the money to pay them, so why would they want any money up front? STAY AWAY.

I was searching on line for info of how to apply for business grants/loans and this co. popped up. Filled out app. and later received a call from Betty. She spent time answering questions, was not pushy, said I could call back anytime with questions. Have not sent any $ yet, still trying to find more info on this co. $199. seems like a good deal for what was explained they help with. Anyone has more info, please post.

I too, applied, received a call and the request for $199. In my experience of working on proposals, etc., I know the amount of time it takes to come up with the appropriate documentation when applying for grants. My sister makes a full-time job of it. I'd call her, but she's too busy!  For the amount of work they do, the price is extremely reasonable. Your tax preparer charges you more and there is never a guarantee you'll get a refund. AND it's only fair that you do a little bit of the work yourself. Afterall, you are the one wanting the money! right?
