Have received a call once about every day for over a month now, but they never leave message.  If this were truly Comcast, they would leave a message and/or email or deliver something via USPS.  From what I've heard and read, it is likely someone trying to gain access to personal information.  TIP: DO NOT ANSWER PHONE CALLS THAT ARE NOT IDENTIFIABLE!

I too am getting calls from 855-254-8688 and when I call back it ID's as Comcast.  I talked with Comcast and they say it is not one of their numbers.  BEWARE!!!

Its was comcast calling to tell me they took away 8 channels. Obviously I didn't notice. Then they tried to up sell me more channels that I don't watch for 9.99 more a month.

Please stop calling my house. You wake my baby up.

Keep a sports whistle next to your phone.  Answer the phone and blow the whistle a good blast.  If it is a recording it will not do anything, but if it is one of those pesty market research people, maybe they will quit calling.  From my understanding, market research, charities and political calls are exempt from abiding by the no call list.  Charities and Political calls usually come up on the caller ID.  Market Research are just plain pests.   If you have ordered something via internet or by phone and listed a  phone number you are a prime target for those blasted Market Research pests checking on  your satisfaction.

^#&*#s have called me no less than 5 times in the last 24 hours. Never leave a message. Probably late on my bill. Wish they would wake up --it's a cable bill, not a $20,000 medical bill.  ONE call, ONE message is sufficient, not badgering.

I've been getting calls from this number for about a month now. I get at least 1 call per day, but on most days I miss 2-3 calls from this number. They never leave a message. When I all back the recording says they are Comcast. But if they don't leave a messgae it most not be important. BUT after reading these posts Iwill NEVER answer when this number calls (let alone giove out any info). MAKE THEM STOP.

Missed a call from this number.  I recently canceled my Comcast service and started getting daily calls from 800-408-1356.  I blocked that number.  Thanks for the posts.  I've now added this one to my call filter list.

From what I've read on the other number, the Comcast calls that aren't leaving messages are from a call center that Comcast has provided with contact information of customers who cancel service with Comcast.  They do not leave messages and will call several times a day until you answer.  They are trying to get you to sign back up.

Probably your best options are to get a call filter application or just talk to the person.  Otherwise, some of the call times can start getting outrageous.

Its Wells Fargo attempting to collect a debt on one of their credit card services.  At least they take "this person is no longer at this number" seriously and stopped calling looking for Julie.

called twice in the space of two hours. Heard part of a recording when i was trying to hang up. Very annoying you can still get calls from salespeople when your number is on the no call registry.

Constantly calling but never leaves messages. I don't bother with unidentified callers.  Based on the comments here, I will never answer these calls. Sounds like a scam artist.

got the call and they hung up before i answered...good thing too!

guy with slight accent trying to get me to verify who I was in a pushy way. He didn't want to identify himself until I did. Said I was getting channels I shouldn't but since i was a loyal customer....blah blah blah, I hung up
