Your new number is someone else's old number.  Your pest is looking for the previous owner of the number.  

I have a way you can set-up your current cell phone so it will only ring for your parents when you are sleeping.
1)  Put your parents phone numbers in your contacts list and assign them a ring tone.
2)  Assign everyone else in your contacts list the "default" ring tone.
3)  Right before you go to bed change the default ring tone to "silence".  That will send all calls but your parents to voicemail.
4)  When you get out of bed change the default ring tone to something you'll notice.

Optional - for known pests and scammers -
1.5  Put your known pests in your contacts list and assign them the ring tone "no ring"
4.5  When you get out of bed don't change the ring tones for the pests.  Leave them on "no ring" for ever.

Three calls today on my "new" number from TracFone. I sleep days and so I cut off my regular cell and home phones when I go to bed. I bought this TracFone as an EMERGENCY ONLY phone and gave the number ONLY to my elderly parents so they could call and wake me up any time they really need me, without my getting awakened by SPAM/Non-Emergency Calls from friends and family. Thanks to JERKS like this company and TracFone, that is not possible. So a Pox upon TracFone and upon whoever this SPAMMER turns out to be. Have read elsewhere that it is a Scammer Rent To Own company. May they rot and go bankrupt, along with TracFone for selling my number.

They keep calling my house. I want them to get locked up.

I get calls from this number, constantly

calls home number 4 times a day from 9 am until 9 pm. never leaves a message. I'm glad for 800 notes to be able to check out these calls so these scammers are identified.

1-855-255-0064 - calls my cell phone daily up to a three times a day.  Never leaves a message.  I called the number back today from my office telephone and they answered "Rent to Own Homes".  I asked them to please put my number on their do not call list.  They told me that sometimes their clients will put down the wrong phone number.

I use a app called MR. NUMBER. It's free and it works. Google it.

Most cell phone carriers have a way to block an unwanted number; try them....

They called and at least they left a message. "Randy from Rent 2 Own" and left call back number.  Why they would call me? I have no idea. Have not signed for anything and I am not looking for a house.

I got a call today 4/24/2014 no one on the line. No one said a word. So I won't answer the next time they call. I'm looking for a new position so I need to answer certain calls but this type of spam calls are ridiculous!

my phone is thru safelink. when my minutes are high I get strange calls. I feel that safelink is trying to use my minutes for me. I need my minutes to last all month. I am among the poor. The calls only occur with my safelink and not my landline or my wifes at&t. Also toll free #'s are not free.

Got a call today and luckily was sleeping...will note it as don't pick up...yesterday got 4 missed calls from another one 801-852-8320 and then it being Friday I thought some work call and picked it up and think that lady said rent to own or something like that, I said stop calling on my cell am not interested ..guess now they using another number

Most online credit repairing companies or signs you see on the side of the road are not good to help credit. They usually hold funds until your creditors have already charged off your accounts then when the company collects everything then they apply to your accounts. But when I look up a # & it's from out of the country it's even more likely to be a scam!

They kept calling so I stopped answering the phone.  Finally, they called me and let the phone ring for 1 hour and 10 minutes.  I let the phone ring to see how long they would let the phone ring but I could not take it anymore.  I finally pressed ignore to disconnect their ring.

They called 4 times minutes apart past 9pm! I do not like this!

I got 2 calls from this number yesterday and 1 just a couple minutes ago. I have not answered any of the calls and they do not leave a message.  Am contacting Verizon to have the number blocked.

This makes sense, they got me this way too. I don't even want a rent-to-own house, but their website had (apparently) updated details about a home being sold in my area, so I put my phone number in so I could see them. Unfortunately, now they have my number and I didn't even get to look at any of the info I wanted to see.

Thanks for posting this, I hadn't connected the two. In fact, I'd forgotten that I'd even been on that website until I saw your post!
