They claimed to be a company called "Convictions Collections" and wanted to talk to a sales person. I hung up - whatever!

Stop calling me 4-5 times a day.  If you want to talk, leave me a message and don't hang-up.

i have been getting hang-ups on my voice mail every day from these people for about a week.  how do i make them stop??

855-257-1977 keeps calling 2 or 3 times a day and never leaves a message.  I'm on the do-not-call list.

Calls at least every other day.

Even though I am listed on the "Do Not Call" list, this number keeps calling me on my home and cell phones during daytimes, evenings and even on Sundays, but never leave a message.  I would like them to stop bugging me. Thank you.

Recieved two calls:
First call, no message left, but approximately ten seconds of background voices heard.
Second call, caller left message. A man's voice said, "Hi Love."
Very creepy.

Received a call tonight at 9 pm, only picked up because we keep getting these calls.  They said they were from wells Fargo, then hung up.

Please post this in as many places as you can. I called the 855-257-1977 number about a week ago & used the option to have my number removed. Today 1/24, after a call from this number, I called the email/internet fraud line of Wells Fargo (WF), and frankly they were no help at all. When the WF agent tried calling the number, she says she receives an error & the call wouldn't go thru. I called the number from my phone & conferenced the WF agent so she could hear them start the call with this is a Wells Fargo Promotion. I then selected the option for more info, where they state they are a telemarketer offering WF customer's a special insurance promotion from National Union Fire Insurance Company. The WF agent replied that she thought it was valid, yet she couldn't confirm it. So what kind of fraud department can't even tell you what their own company is promoting. Also....did WF sell our contact info to these telemarketers!

This is my advice:
1) Leave WF and join a good credit union; I've been extremely satisfied with mine for 27 years. My mortgage is only thing I have with WF, hubby has personal & business accounts & does nothing but complain about WF services. He wont join CU because not enough locations, making it inconvient for him.

2) Purchase a call blocker unit, and block all of these callers. I hadn't blocked this number because I thought it was possibly about our mortgage. They are now permanently blocked. I wont mention which unit I have, not trying to market anything, but I love it.

3) Call WF and ask that they remove your name & phone number from ALL of their marketing promotions. From WF as well as any of their partners.

4) If they continue, file a complaint against Wells Fargo & National Union Fire Insurance Co with the BBB. They may be able to get away with not abiding by the Do Not Call Registry because of our & their relationship with WF, but their practices need to be punished. Also, if privacy issues are found, there needs to be some sort of legal action taken.

Did you follow those instructions?  If so, did it work?  I am leery about returning calls like that and pressing # or * from things I read on the Internet about scams, etc.  I just want them to stop calling me.

I get this number calling me multiple times a day every day and they never leave a message.  Can we report them since my number is on the Do Not Call List?

Answered and they asked for "our name" and I asked whos calling and line went dead.  I called the # back and it was Wells Fargo recording saying it was a solicitation and if you wanted to be removed to press one then enter your telephone #.  Said it should be removed within 5 days.

Caller ID showed "Unknown name." They didn't leave a message. Within moments, another call came in from a mortgage investment group out of FL. They've been calling and writing for months trying to get us to refi our loan. Our original mortg. is svcd by WF. Hmmmmm
