In our frustration over this issue we've changed all our numbers and we've reported this to Century Link and the authorities.

We are Conviction Communications, a B2B lead generation call center. Someone has stolen or is using our toll free number of 855-257-5500 and calling residences and posing as a bank or something. We apologize for this. We are diligently working with Century Link to either stop this or change out our number. We do not call residences at all. This is disrupting our business day as well for folks are calling the number left on their Caller IDs, which is really our business. If you can get more information on or from the caller please inquire as much as you can and then call me FX O'Connor, the GM, @ 855-566-5000 and I'll report it to Century Link's legal department. If this doesn't get fixed soon we'll change out our number.
If you have *69 capabilities - use that and call that back to see what number you may get.
Also these calls seem to be coming from area code 727 & 813 right now. Our business is in Phnx, AZ

I got a call the other day and reported it immediately to my real bank. My real bank said they never called me. It's a scam.

They stole a 855 number and it's a scam to get your bank info.

It's a fraud! it's been reported.
