I've been having the same issues too! The guy called saying he's from the IRS and that his name was Brad Nelson from 877.705.4245. He has a string Indian accent and when I asked him to repeat some stuff he snapped at me. He said something about me having a debt and that I have to pay it or else I would be taken to court and have a law suit filed against me. I have been getting these phone calls for the past four days! And when I asked if I could speak to his supervisor, brad said that he was the supervisor. What should I do? I'm going to my bookkeeper tomorrow to get this settled. Should I call the police for harassment and fraud?

This is getting old and the USA Government needs to stop them. We keep getting calls also from 855-265-2768. The Indian speaking male by the name of Peter Blake threatens to have my wife arrested and to return a call to Denny Stein or a Rodney?

I GOT A CALL FROM A PERSON REPORTING HIS NAME AS BRAD NELSON (had a totally Asian Indian accent)- CLAIMING TO BE FROM SECRET SERVICES THAT SOMEONE BY THE NAME ZACHARY SMITH- IRS-TAX-AUDIT-DEPARTMENT-908-516-3796 HAS FILED CASE AGAINST MY CREDIT REPORT, THE person tried all pressure tactics saying that I would understand when I get arrested and deported. It is a shame that people will go to any extent and malign their country for petty gains. I got saved because I googled this name and found this post! Google gets another accalaim added to their already long list of achievements - saves from fraud!

I received a phone call from 855-265-2768 saying his name is Llyod Prescott and 908-516-3796 from Zachria Smith with an Indian accent. (Really?) Indian people have indian names, I would know that because I am indian. He claims he's from the Law Department with the IRS and that my husband and I owe money to the IRS and if I don't pay him right away the FEDS will be coming to arrest us. He then proceeded to tell me that I would have to send him $3,784.00 through something called "GREEN DOT MONEY PACK which can be purchased at a local CVS, Rite Aid, Walmart, KMart, etc... and I would have to scratch the back of it and provide him with the numbers. Me being confused and curious, told him that he would have to give me one hour to go to the bank and get the money so that I would purchase the Money Pack. He said that if I get off the phone I loose the deal and my husband & I would be arrested and face possible deportation. I AM AN AMERICAN CITIZEN, born in the USA... hello? Deported back to the US? So I asked him if I could put him on hold and do the transaction, he said "yes by all means". It just so happens that the IRS is in my building so I went down to them and as I started to tell them the situation, the immediately stopped me and said it's a scam. THE IRS WOULD NEVER CONTACT YOU ON THE PHONE OR ON EMAIL. I told the IRS agent the individual in on the phone and they took the phone and spoke to them. They never called me back. If this is happening to you, please do not entertain them and call the IRS agent at 917-408-5640 IMMEDIATELY. Don't be a victim of fraud and scams.

I received a phone call from this 855-265-2768 saying they had several allegations against me.  They called my cell number and my work number.  I have reported this to the sheriffs department and also the police department because if any debt is owed, something would be mailed.  I will not return the call and they also said they would contact my family.  I also would be arrested at work or home.  Usually when I get these calls, they go on for several days and then it stops and a couple of months later, it is picked up again.  A little later he gave a phone number o 855-442-9368.  I also couldn't understand his name something like Benny or Denny Stein.

C'mon people, debt is NOT a criminal offense - in other words, no warrants or arresting or anything else!  DO NOT ANSWER NUMBERS YOU DON'T KNOW!  If you don't have Caller ID, just hang up on them after you start hearing their stupid spiel.

But would not say what this is in reference to. I told him send me paperwork to look at he got pissy and cussed me out.  What a dick
