Report the call. Contact the Consumer Credit Helpers at 855-672-1988  with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA.  They will get the collection calls to stop .they helped me two months ago! wonderful Service

They are NOT a law firm you lying sack of dog crap.  It is a SCAM.  There is NO legitimate company that does not give their name when calling you on the phone.  If you DID owe money and the debtor wanted to take you to court it would be a civil matter and they would not serve you with papers UNTIL it was filed in your local court.  They can not come to your house NOR can they come to your place of employment.  IT IS A SCAM and one that has taken various forms- do not fall for this- the one that called me said his name was Mr. Martin- keep a copy of the calls ( as I did) and turn them over to police.

The person above is a TROLL and works for them- I know how these scams work - I have been targeted three seperate times - each time they try something a bit different.  DONT believe people who say it is NOT a scam- they work for them!!

ALL I CAN SAY IS I FOLLOWED UR HOLE SCAM THING WELL I RECIVED THAT PAPER WRK AND NOW FACING MUCH MORE TRUBBLE RATHER THAN TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS..,....

They are a law group who bought out deliquent loans from the company then they take legal action. It is very serious and they will work with you so you don't have to go to court and pay even more money.

They left me a message saying they will be at my job 1/18 with a notice of intent but didnt leave the company name.

I have spoken to someone from this number and told them I had no idea or information about a past due account.  I started receiving calls again saying they would be delivering legal documents to my home.  I called the number back and asked for a company name, address and phone number and no one would provide it to me.  I further informed them that they are possibly in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Public Law 109-351.  I believe this is some type of questionable company that is operating in the dark not wanting to let individuals know their true identity or nature of business.  I asked for everything to be sent to me in writing within five days and never received a thing.  I am not sure how they got my name or number but I am sure it is a scam.
