Got a call from this number but didn't answer it. A message was left, and it was from my credit union (Kinecta), reminding me to activie a new ATM card that had been mailed to me. All legit --

Thanks! I just don't understand: a company one has legit business with is reluctant to identify itself. It makes absolutely NO sense, and defies good basic customer service protocols. Well...at least what USED to be good basic customer service protocols...

Got the call, which said "Toll Free Call" in the caller ID. When I called them back, it was Kinecta Federal Credit Union.

Dunno who these people were. They just called. Of course, I don't answer "Toll Free Calls" or "800 Service" calls anymore, on the off chance they may be some verminous organizations like bill collectors, lawyers and *shudders* faux solicitors.
If anyone has any information about this particular number, I would be much obliged.
