I got this exact call. Not sure about the number because no call ID. Anyway I called AMEX and they said this company was working with their Air Miles Amex card customers to offer upgrades, but I don't have one of those cards. I complained that they were agressive and sounded like a fraud to me as they wanted to 'confirm my identity'. Of course I did not fall for it.

I was told that they are calling "on behalf"of AMEX, and wanted to know the last four digits of my phone number or te last four of my card. Supposedly they had important information about my card to share.

I asked why they needed the last four of my ph. number when they just called me at that number, answer was to verify if they had not misdialed!!??

In anycase I told her to call back if she is not sure where she called and hung up, so far not called back.

Alliance Icomm is a call centre that is employed threw American Express.  Its actually not a scam.....just fyi

I have received calls for over a week from 855-286-0681.  Today I was home and answered the phone.  I am on the "Do Not Call List" and wanted to inform this company that I would report them.  They Identified themselves as working for Aliant Communication in partnership with AMEX.  I told the person on the other end of the line that I was on the "'Do Not Call List" and I was going to report them. Then I hung up.

AMEX has all ready been advise by me that I did not want to be disturb over the phone and to send all promotional material to me via mail.  I have not had any more phone calls from AMEX for several years, so I am a little wary.

No reputable company would request personal information over the phone.  Caller beware

Called back, and the phone was answered "American Express"

Called Amex, who then called the number, told me it was a division of Amex, and reconnected me.

It's a company that works for Amex, promoting some kind of deals.  I told her I wouldn't be giving here any info, and didn't think it was a promo of interest.  She said she understood my concerns.

I keep getting those calls too. When I called it back, it said it was American Express. So I called the real American Express and they were not aware of these calls. Definitely a scam!!! (came up Alliance icom on my caller ID)

Received telephone call from an individual indicating his named as Arthur Taylor and he was representing a company called Alliance Communication out of London, Ontario.  Their company can assist American Express credit card holders to obtain better deals purchasing products.

Subject informed I was not interested.

It would be interesting to know if this Alliance Communication "hacked" American Express to get my home telephone number.

Got a call form this number and it is very fraudulent in approach. Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Received call from this number yesterday trying to get me to tell them the security code for my AMEX card. I simply said "This call is terminated" and hung up. The scary thing about these kinds of calls is that some people will fall for their stories.
