Definite scam.  This Michael Drake, DM associates, Drake and McKannon pretend law firm just call random numbers hoping for someone to call them back, then scare them with their empty threats into  going to their fake website and make a payment by paypal.  They don't even know who they are calling. They can't prove anything so don't give them any money or any info.  Do NOT call them back.  Report them, block their number, have a good laugh at their idiot scam and forget them.  Losers !

I missed this call yesterday. The message left was very vague so I assumed it was a scam. Also, the phone service I have is Verizon.

DM associates.   A pretty ruff crew.  Possibly working out of Amhurst New York.   Present address of these scammrers is unknown exactly.  They make all sort of absurd threats to anyone they call in an attempt to get money.  Ignore them.

Live in Tennessee ....received two calls today from this number ...left message on voicemail .....if I didn't call them back with my name and social security number within 72 hours the county would proceed with further action ..THIS IS SCAM ...HOW CAN THEY PROCEED IF THEY DON'T KNOW MY Name or SS # ??????

my message was from Matt something from DM. same message , call back within 72 hours or legal proceedings in my county will take action...My 81 year old mom got same call 30 min after me. She was scared to death! This needs to stop with these people.

7:49 PM MST on 5/23/14   Left message.  Same as listed above "We are blah blah blah from (something that was not clear) and this is a 24 hour notice.  We have blah blah with your name and SS#.  Call us back immediately at 855-288-5580.  Failure to return our call will result in you being served in 72 hours."  or something close to that.   What a bunch of scumbags.  Leave me alone.  I am an old lady who is disabled. A***oles.  Reporting to the powers that be.

The company name is the Law offices of Drake McKannon or DM Associates. They are trying to collect on a debt that they are NOT authorized to collect on. They use scare tactics and have violated many laws.

If you look at their website, they do not list an address. There is a reason for that because when filling a complaint with the CPFB they require an address.

These folks are a scam. They called to try to collect on a debt that was not with their company. They also called my friends stating they are trying to contact me, which is illegal.
