caller ID: unknown. Richard Rossi claims is his name, left a VM for someone with the same last name.  my vm clearly states my full name.  derogatory and threatening information left on vm from Richard Rossi.  NO collector would EVER leave a message on any vm like this.  Says a fraudulent check written.  Hanging someone else's personal info on my vm, which is probably a scam any way to gather routing # and complete the trash that they do and will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.  oh my.

** I have saved the VM and will be contacting attoorney general.

This place keeps calling my home phone and leaving long messages. I called back and talked to someone. He(did not give name) I was being taken to court but I could take care of the matter over the phone. I did not give them any banking info as I have not received written communication. I called them back but hung up after they anwered the phone with just a hello and without any identifying info. I shall see if I get served.

I was getting daily calls from these hacks until they took a two day hiatus, and now are back eliminating the R&L and using fancy language.

This is so a scam.  At the end of the message they say please reference claim number then immediately the message ends.  Talk about perfect timing for a message to end.  Can you say fraud.

People i have perfect credit.  If this is a true collection you would receive written communication giving the required 30 days to respond.  If you are going to get served then you are going to get served.  A processor doesn't hold back a summons as they are not paid unless they serve.

Just report these clowns to your state AG and FTC.

civil...why would i deal with a lying low life sleazy debt collection company..they have an F rating with the BBB so that means they lie they will wipe out your bank account if you give them your info..also in most states the SOL is 2-3 years,so you cant even sue anybody..talking about a scam  your low life company buys a 100.00 very old check for 10.00 and then tries to collect one thousand dollars  THAT IS A SCAM..
also ask them if there license to collect money from your state and if they say yes and ask for there license number and the law say he has to give it to you and then check it out remember your dealing with liars..

PEOPLE..just ignore these FOOLS the only reason why they post there stupidity on here is because there not making any money from there tiny little business.....RIGHT IDIOT..

if you do decide to pay these FOOLS (why i dont know) you pay what you can afford, not what they tell you to pay,,they dont care if your living in the street or your kids are hungry..also never use your personnel checks your banks name and account number and routing number is on it and thats all the info they need to debit your account behind your back...use money orders and get the address and if they say they dont accept money orders they you say when you do accept money orders then give me a call and hang-up

The people who don't pay their bills are the people who supply low-life sleazy debt collectors their jobs. If it wasn't for the people in debt, scum-bags would be back working the Ring-toss at the carnivals. Or they'd all be left like the Indian frauds; trying to blow smoke up the back-sides of naive victims.
You'd think that in a weak economy the debt collectors would be wallowing in work. Wrong! During hard times people have less money. Less money means..less money. Especially for debt collectors.
Debt collectors are the slime of society during the best of times. Times get tough and the debt collectors slough off their Walmart business attire and resort to being their true selves. Which is being degenerate, uneducated losers and users who have failed at every thing they've ever attempted. Whos jobs are being outsourced overseas to lower paid and even more miserable failures.
The time is rapidly approaching when the US will have rid its shores of the bogus debt collectors. They'll all be esconsed in Indian call centers and Asian boiler-rooms. Which is fine by me. I'm multi-lingual and can tell people to ****-off in several languages. I'm just as comfortable telling a P***. what to do with his goat as I am telling a welfare descendant what to do with his Wife/Crack-Ho.
If someone owes a legitimate debt they should pay it. To the original creditor or the legitimate owner of the debt. AFTER the debt has been legally verified and the collector has been found to be legitimate. NEVER pay a debt collector a dime until a legal, written letter of validation has been supplied to you by mail. NOT E-mail or fax.
Do your homework. Know your rights. The people in this world who will lower themselves to the point of being in debt collections are, by their very nature, predatory parasites. They consider themselves to be clever, but they've already proven that they aren't clever enough to be in real business. They're too lazy/inept/dishonest etc. to be entrusted with an honorable job so they're in debt collections. It's the perfect place for these rejects. In the debt collections industry it's all understood that everybody rips off everyone else and the winner is the guy who has ripped off the most. Morals, ethics and laws are concepts that some of these folks may have heard of. Few have ever paid them any attention. Lying and scamming are considered the norm. Only in Politics and Law Enforcement will you find as many slippery individuals as you will in debt collections. Bad Attys. and debt collectors used to flock together. Misery loves company. But now, even failed Attys. are avoiding the debt collectors. A long sought answer has been found. There is something lower than a crooked Atty. It's a debt collector. And lower still? Yep, you got it. A lying, dirt-bag, bogus debt collector SHILL!

They have called me as well.  The voicemail never asks for anyone. It states that his name is Tim Johnson and it is pertaining to a case. supposedly I have to go over a packet that was placed either at my home or place of employment regarding page 15.  Apparently in these three messages which I have saved they all state the same exact thing word for word. It is definitely a pre-recorded message. Same exact message once a week for the last thre weeks! Ridiculous!

This company is listed with the BBB on their website and have had something like 35 complaints and a grade of (F)  However, they are not BBB accredited.  I have received a call from this number.  They left a voice mail and did not state who they were calling for.  However, they did state that there was a case of check fraud?  I have been looking into this number and on other websites I see a lot of info about them being scams!

Get a life. U know this isn't real. If u bothered to look up the name, you'll deluxe these people are impersonating lawyers. They aren't even listed with BBB. Theynever heard of them. They can face legal trouble for pretending to be lawyers. If they were real, which they r not, they have to say , "this is an attempt to collect a debt". Like I say, what comes around, goes around:/

I got a similar message as Not2dumb, except I was referred to page 15. They continue to call and call. When I asked them to stop calling my number, the clown on the phone refused. He was obnoxious. I filed a complaint with the BBB and will next call the FTC. Whoever suggested *you* have to prove you don't owe a debt is crazy...THEY must prove you owe it. In my case they are clearly calling some deadbeat who used my number in the past, or had the number in the past. The bottom line is, I don't owe anyone.

This number calls and leaves messages about some type of notice before being served.  They never mention anyone's name in the message and they never mention what it's about.  I'm assuming that if we were to be served for some reason they could come to the house we have lived at for a decade!

I left this message on 800notes.com - There is a lot more activity concering this number (855-289-0725) over there. Be aware it is a SCAM!

Yet another instance of phone harassment! Be aware people this is more scam than anything legitimate. I have never bounced a check, I have never defaulted on any loan, my credit score is almost 800... These SCAMMERS haven't any legitimate reason to be calling me, and simply because you may have some hiccups in your recent credit history, does not mean they have a legitimate reason to be contacting you either! Personally I am tired of these trolls leaving the harassing phone messages that they do on my personal Cel phone. The person's name given is also Tim Johnson as the representative. He is equally generic when calling, something about a packet mailed that I would have had to sign for, and that he needs to go over page 15 concerning the court date and hearing. This scammer has used several call back numbers, I have noticed also that this organization is blocking the real number they are calling from as it does not show in my missed calls record; I just get prompted about a voicemail... I had actually considered calling them back to tell them they have the wrong number, now I am far more inclined to file a Class Action lawsuit against them. anyone interested? Write back here, if there is enough interest in this action, I will leave an email at that time. If anyone else has already begun this action, please let everyone know here. This should stop now!
