Answered legal services.  Said check fraud and criminal theft by deception.  If payment was set up today bill would be lowered by 700 or 800 dollars and this would all stop.  ????  I got an eric white. Gave me his direct number.  Said be available between 2p and 6p monday. Or would be charged 75.00 for every attempt after that. Gave case # too.

We have tons of donation collection jars spread across Texas with this number on it.  They are collecting funds for Rising Angels.  It is a scam.  I just seached the phone number and all this above came up.  It is obvious that they are involved in all kinds of scams.

"Breckenridge Law Firm" has called my friend, her elderly paents, and her in-laws. They threatened to have a warrant issued and have her arrested. Her father called her crying asking if she and her husband needed help. He is elderly and in ill health, we are all quite worried for him because he doesn't comprehend this is a scam. My friend used an online loan company (500 Fast Cash) years ago and pd the debt quickly when she discovered how they operated. She has proof of pymt, still has it printed out from 2010. I tried calling back on her behalf, spoke to Tara Collins, because when she spoke to them the man kept yelling at her, all he would say is he was going to issue a warrant if she didn't call back w/in an hour. (this is 1.5hr after the first 30 min threat) When she tried to call and find out what it was all about, he wouldn't tell her and at one point he was SCREAMING over the phone he didn't have to tell her anything she just needed to pay. I work for a reputable finance co. Let me educate you on collection methods: you must identify to the person who you are and why you are calling, that you are trying to collect a debt, you must tell them who you are trying to collect it for. As a consumer you should have already received written notice of the debt if possible and you have 30 days after notification to dispute any collection. I'll end w/ saying, if I EVER spoke to a client the way this man spoke to my friend, my boss would fire me on the spot and make sure I never worked for another financial institution in our city again. BE AWARE! YOUR CITY/COUNTY/STATE HAS FREE LEGAL HELP, CONTACT YOUR LOCAL DEPT FOR FAMILY/SOCIAL SERVICES FOR DIRECTION TO APPROPRIATE HELP!!!!

Just started receiving calls from these two. New number is 855-597-4549. Using same tactics as before. Have called about this company, and there is no record of them. Will be looking into this.

I filed a complain with these people.  They started calling about 8 months ago but at that time they said they where with Cambridge and Associates, then they became Goldberg Keller and Associates and now they are Beckenridge Law Firm.  They will tell you anything to collect the debt.  You can not be charged for check fraud, I confirmed this with the Federal Trade Commission.  They can sue but they have to verify the debt first and they will refuse to do this.  They will state that your paperwork is sealed and the only way to get it is to go to court.  Do not let them harrass you! They have called my place of employment and told the receptionist they where on their way to serve me because of bank and check fraud.  This is illegal!  They can not do that!  They have been on their way to serve me over a dozen times.  Call your Attorney General for your state and file a complain with the Federal Trade Commission, 877-382-4357.  We all fall on hard times sometimes, that does not make us criminals or bad people.  I will repay my debt to everyone I owe but I will not be harrassed in the process.  Anthony Smith, Tara Collins, you can keep changing the name of the Law Firm but your still the same scum!  You are the ones breaking the law!

Thanks for this message...I knew this was mysterious...they just had a show on these scammers on Anderson a couple of weeks ago.  Thank God I watched it because they did upset me and threatened me as well with their scare tactics and threatening  a warrant for my arrest.

I got the same call Monday they got my info and hit my bank account today I filed fraud on them threw my bank and my bank will give me back my money in 2business days needles to say I had to close my account just know its all fraud don't sweat it!

I received a call also today.. They called my son upset him... they said they had a summons. I had a fraud  pending plus check. said I owed 300.00 I called this number. they said they were suing me for $3,482.21.  They said it was from 2008 or 2009??? I called back they wanted to do a settlement for $672.52.  That immediately drew red flags.  I contacted an attorney.. they said you would rather pay an attorney than us??? ANYONE OUT THERE I HAVE CONTACTED ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICES BBB ETC.  FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION. DOOOO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY I WAS TOLD TO CASHNET.USA . THEY HUNG UP ON ME. LATER THAT AFTERNOON CALLED NUMBER BACK SEARCHED IT THREW GOOGLE. BEEEEE CAREFULLLLLLLL!!!!

i just got a call today and they threaten to take me to court and charge me $4800! if i didnt pay in 24 hours they would arrest me..they cant threaten people like that said my friend who  works at a law firm..but i was soo scared i quickly hung up the phone and called my law friends.. she said its just a debt collector...just terrible

Got a call from this # threatening to serve me with a warrant due to a fraud case I was involved in. They are calling my place of employment and  leaving these messages. They are saying that they just went by my house and I was not there to sign the summons for court. And that they will be by my place of employment within the hour. It's ridiculous! I want it to stop!

OMG I wish I could find a way to go about this leagally but I can't find any info. They called back last week and I told them that I didn't think this was ligit so I would not pay any more money. He said so I will be serving you today and I replied that he could come by anytime and that I left work at 3pm. So they called my job again today (even though I have told everyone that I speak with that I can't have personal calls at work) and told my boss that they were invertigating a fruad case and that she needed to speak with me and made my boss take a message and gave the 1-855 number(really a law case and you have a 1-855 number?). I have to find a way to get them to stop callimg my job before I get written up. But I am not paying this $450 they think I owe them because I don't think it is a real company or a real debt. Mind oyu I have owed a lot of people more oney than this in the past and no one ever called my job.

I also received a call threatening to "serve me" with the mention of check fraud charges. Then the idiot tries to negotiate a "settlement" which threw up red flags in my mind. I told him I was totally unaware of this debt and asked for proof of the debt (which is my right.)  So far I've heard nothing further from them.

First time they called me, it was Tuesday April 23, 2012 on my personal cell phone!! They kept saying that they have a case against me, gave me a case number, and stated that it was important to reach me to serve me.  I work for a Police Agency and there is NOTHING pending city, county or state wide with my name on it.  They have also been calling my dad who is also works for the same Police Agency.   Now they threatend to come to my job to serve me and threatend me that I better be at my residence, and threatend to make me lose my job.  THIS IS A SCAM!!!! THEY ARE TRYING TO COLLECT MONEY THAT YOU DO NOT OWE!!!  I am making a police report and fighting back legally!!

I got a call from them saying they are trying to summons me to court and have pending criminal charges yet I can find no record of the company or a lawsuit pending against me. They keep calling and are very unprofessional and threatening.

I got a call and he said that he was a process server Michale Johnson and that he would be at my job to serve me with the sherriff if I did not call the number within 20minutes. Wish I would have just told him to come on in serve me. I am looking into filing charges against this company because I have already filed numerouse complaints with the BBB about harrassment.

Got a call from Mike Moore. Said he worked with Division One Courier and was coming to serve a court summons.

Got a call from this number. They said if i didnt call them back within 45 min they would issue warrant for my arrest!

My brother got a call from this number - said they were a law office for Brackenridge. Had a case number and said if person they were calling for didn't call back in 30 min. they were going to have an arrest warrant for them. What type of law office calls and threatens with warrants with out sending out paper work firs?

Got a call from this number and they don't want to leave information. Say that are from a legal outlet called Brackenridge law offices. Give a case number and threaten with giving out warrants. Who are these people.
