First time I have received call from this number although I get calls from many other numbers, fewer than a while back.  If this is Charter wish they would leave us alone.  I got solicitation in the mail one day, charter salesman showed up at the door the next day (you can't leave your door open or you invite salesmen) and now this call for the first time.  I read somewhere that if you pick up and then hang up they will think it is a blocked number and "robo" will be fooled.  I think it is working because I only got 1 call yesterday.  The most persistent caller is one that ends in "3495" and picking up and hanging up hasn't worked but that number will go a long time before starting to call again.  It is collection call which doesn't know that I don't owe anyone.

if you ever owed money to citi bank or chase this company is hired to harass people. I have moved a couple of times. I learned this by contacting at &t to block the same number at multiple locations and was informed from them to file a harassment case with law23 enforcement at this point.

I contacted Charter Communications via their facebook page.  Within the hour they wrote back to me, asking for my number so they could remove it from their robo call list.  This morning they wrote to say we would be removed within 48 hours--rather than a month!  I have to hand it to them--they did us right.  Just contact the company via their facebook page.  They are quite reasonable.

They call minimum 5x a day - interesting that it's Charter.  Called them back - got one ring and cutoff, so I guess they are paying me back for hanging up on them all the time.

Thirteen minutes after the call from (855) 290-3162 we received a call from (800) 213-6459. Same thing, no one said anything when we answered the phone, and after a few seconds the call disconnected. This is becoming extremely annoying.

We have credit cards with Citi Bank but are not behind in our payments (yet), so we do not understand why they would be bothering us.

We had a call from this number at 8:37 AM on Saturday. When we answered, no one said anything. After a few seconds we heard the call disconnect. Apparently someone has waaaaaaaaaaay to much time on their hands.

We've had continuous calls over the past few months from several toll-free numbers, and either no one says anything when we answer, or they ask for someone who apparently had the number before we did.

Charter keeps calling me from this number. I am on every do not call list but they say they can call me because I once had Charter service. That was over 6 years ago! I called them back and they said they would make a note not to call but it could take 30 days. We will see.

They are the collection dept. of Charter Communicatons. They call me about a pass due bill, I have never use them.  When to their office to see whay I keep getting these calls, they have no answer. I told them to stop calling or I''ll take other action. I have a in-law that is a Lawyer.

This number calls my house several times a day and when I answer, they hang up.

I received several calls from this number, but I don't answer unknown callers. They left no message so I blocked calls from that number and, voila, the incessant ringing has stopped.

this is apparently charter communications. i have charter, yet they still call. ive been getting calls daily from them trying to sell me service. ummm i have service with you cant they see that with the number they are constantly calling. they issued me the number.. the person on the line asked if i needed service. so stupid. i said quit calling and they still do. very annoying.

This number is continually calling.

I typically do not answer toll free callers but this number keeps calling 3 & 4 times a day all hours of the day up to 9pm. They have been calling for almost a month so yesterday I reached my boiling point & finally answered the call to have them hang up in my ear. An hour later they calm back & again I answer this time nothing just holding the line so I proceeded to tell them just how I felt about their calls...before I could finish my profane frustration they hung up. Again they call any 8:35pm so I answer again & they hang up. I finally tell my hubby I have had enough so I call the number back only to get "I'M SORRY YOU HAVE REACHED A NUMBER THAT HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED OR IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE. IF YOU FEEL YOU HAVE REACHED THIS RECORDING IN ERROR PLEASE CHECK THE NUMBER AND TRY YOUR CALL AGAIN."  So thinking I had miss dialed I pull the number up on my callerid & dial it from there so as to be no mistaking that iI dialed corrected. Again the same recording. So how the hell can they have just called me from a number that's been disconnected?!?!?!?!  This caller needs to be stopped!!!!!!

Please how do I stop this call from coming in?  Sometimed 6 times a day.  The number says: 855-290-3162.

After numerous calls that I answered with no response, someone finally was there today.  It was Charter Communications letting me know there were ways to improve my service.  Hello!!! I don't have Charter service, do not want Charter service, this is a business number and we provide the same services they are offering.  Get a clue :(

855-290-3162 continues to call my home, everytime i pick up they hang up. when i call the number back  there's no answer. Call from another phone and still no answer.I will be reporting them.

Been receiving these calls since July 27th... Nonstop! It actually is getting worse by the week. They are now calling me three times a day, and no one ever responds on the other end when I pick up.

I get called by this number several times a day at different times of the day for the last several weeks.  My guess is that this is a 'ping' program, it dials your number to find out if and when during the day you answer the call and records the result.  That information will then be sold to telemarkers/charities so that they can improve the hit-rate during their campaigns.

This number is from Citi Bank / Collections Dept.

please stop this caller.  They call 2 or 3 times a day and will not respond when I answer.
