Please be wary of going to any Link provided by a stranger on this board.  There has been links posted that appear legit that will download a trojan virus.  tinyurl  has been mentioned in this.
As far as Dell is concerned,  I personally would do nothing.  I wouldn't contact the number that the person is giving because it has  Too questions and doubts about it.  Be safe and ignore all pertaining to contacting anyone and get on with your business.

Called my landline.  Hung up when machine answered.  Left no message.  I am on DNC registry.

I got a call from 855 292 9500   young lady asked for a person by name who had not been an officer of the company for many years. She did not id herself. When i asked who she was she said she was a Dell representative. I told her I was not interested, She said ok someone will call you tomorrow. I said no, I don;t want anymore calls. she said someone would keep calling. I asked her to take me off the list and she said she was not authorized to do that. By this time she was quite abrasive. I said I won;t be buying Dell products any longer. Told her I was using a DELL computer and looking at a DELL monitor but I won't buy another. She said that was not her problem. I told her she was not much of a sales person and she said she was not a sales person. Since she had raised her voice to a near scream I hung up. I called back thinking it was a call center and I could speak to a supervisor but I got an answering machine informing me it was after hours. Surely this was not a DELL employee?
I have several DELL desktops and my entire family own DELL laptops. I have many DELLS in my business.
This kind of thing leaves a bad taste for the product.

Continue to receive phone calls from this number with people claiming to be business account managers from Dell. The first two I informed that I already had a business account manager, and the third I finally tried to get some information on who this business really was and requested to speak to a supervisor but the request was not honored.
