All the companies that were interested in my qualifications, reached out by email or calling me... I never responded and will not now thanks to this helpful info. Too much scam out there.... i to received a text about a job, I called, spoke with a young man , after a few questions, once he started asking me about education, i asked him, are you trying to get me to further mine ? he said ah no, these are professional interview questions
i said really, i never spoke with an agency before, that had yelling and noise in the back ground, he said if i was uncomfortable he had others to interview, i said go for it...and hung up on him. it makes me mad, to be searching for a job and have to go thru this crap :(

Received text message today for a job from this # - nobody ever texts for a job opening/interview, so I googled the number.  The subject was a job title I was looking into yesterday on this site:  http://geebo.com/ .  I also started getting email spam from them this morning, with the SAME job title.  Not your usual job board, but I was there to place an unrelated ad, and saw they had job postings, and looked around.

Scary that when you send your resume out to the void, you get either spam, or subject yourself to ID theft by sending it to crooks, masquerading as legit hiring companies.  It would seem in this case, they posted a bogus job opening for exactly this purpose.

I have been applying to jobs so I called the number from the text (which was basic curiosity) because of the positions I've applied to, I haven't had a company reach out to me by text.  The guy, his name was Percy was so blatantly rude when I asked which position the pre-screening questions were for, he kept going back to what seemed like a pre-read script about his company being the screener for the organization I applied to.  When I asked "What type of questions are you going to ask me? and for which company are you doing the pre-screening for?" he rudely said "This is going to take 5-20 minutes of your time, if you don't have the time, you can call back and speak to someone else."  I told him his wasn't answering my questions and his customer service was poor.  He replied saying he was a professional, helping people get jobs and he's not in the customer service field and if he had people asking him 50 million questions all day he wouldn't be able to do his job.  Realizing this was a scam to get me to give information, I hung up on him.,

Got a text from this number also asking me to call about the "other" job I applied for.  I looked them up and found the info below:

Thanks, I figured as much. It was a message to call back for a position in the medical field I hadn't even applied to. I did respond with STOP, and it replied I had been unsubscribed. Hope that wasn't some kind of trick....

Spam call back number associated with job seeker website. I have received a bogus text as well as over 30 calls to my cell phone over the past few days! Also associated with 215 number...that does not accept incoming texts.!!!!!
