So, you just happened to find your way here, with your "good news" about that supposed wonderful offer.

Why did you search for that number, if you were happy with the results ... in fact, you said your happiness was stimulated by a completely different company, so finding your way here is even more of a mystery.

Somehow, I get the impression you are trying to be a shill for Global Travel... but, at least, you gave some of the facts.

Not necessarily a "scam".

I spoke to Doug @ 855-306-1454 (x306). He said he got my entry from a contest I had entered at a Colorado Springs Sky Sox game (which I tend to do 1 or 2 times per year). I had previously gotten a call for a timeshare in Breckenridge, where I got a $99 weekend in exchange for sitting in on a seminar about the timeshare.

This is similar. The company name is Global Travel. You win a trip voucher (my offer was Mexico, Orlando, or Vegas) in exchange for listening to their spiel about their "wholesale travel company" for an afternoon.

Got a message from Jasmine ext. 309 @ 855-306-1454. Said she was from the 'Awards dept' and I had won something when I was at a Bridal Expo event. I did enter contests but now that I've read that they are scammers, I won't be calling back.

I also got a call about The Dragonboat Festival from this number. William at x341. Seemed suspicious that they'd be calling from an obvious call center.

Beware! Someone named Darin called saying he was from the awards center (didn't say a company) and that they had received my contest entry at the nationwide event. He went on to say he had fantastic news and to call him back at his extension. Red flag- I didn't enter any contests! Needless to say I won't be calling anyone back...

Got a similar voice mail message from 855-306-1454 as others have noted in earlier posts.  Caller referred to  an "award" my husband had won.   I won't return a call after reading  the other comments posted here.

Someone calling himself Byron left a message for my wife. Said he was calling about an award, and that she had filled out a form at the Denver Dragon Boat Festival. Problem is, my wife speaks and writes English poorly, and wouldn't have filled out any forms. Plus, the last time she was at the Dragon Boat Festival was 2 years ago.

I called them back from a different phone. The wouldn't talk to me until I gave the number of the phone where they left the message. Then they told me that everyone was in a meeting, but someone would call me back. I told them to call me on my cell, but it's been two days and I haven't heard anything yet.

I just got a call, same script as the one I saw above! Lots of background noise so I thought it was a marketing call. I won't be calling back

I had a call from 855-306-1454 ext#223 from a Nicky and to call between 3-9pm. That I had one something from an entry at the Parisine Beer Pairing Tasting I recently attended. Not going to call now that I read some of the comments this is a scam!

Got a call from (303) 731-5977 saying there was exciting news about a home show contest I had entered (I did enter that contest) and that I should call (855) 306-1454. I've been getting a couple a day. I finally got around to blocking it and Googling to found out it's a scan travel agency CTC in San Jose.

Carpetbaggers called from 650-264-9575 with the following spiel...

"Hello, my name is (Inaudible), at the award department that is responsible for the drawing that was held, and we've received your entry form that you entered with Great American Giveaway." "The reason for my call is I have exciting news about your entry."  "It is imperative that you do contact me regarding your entry form..." He goes on to say that he has great, great news and to call him back at 855-306-1454x217  He will be in the office Monday - Friday 2pm-....

Of course I didn't enter any contest and he is/they are totally full of it!!!

Don't give those clowns the time of day people, block or ignore them if you know what is good for you.
