Didn't you read Shelly's post?   Called her at work 7 times.     Shelly states that she doesn't owe anyone anything.     Said he was calling from a non-existant "City plaintiff Department".  She called the City and they state they do not have such a person working for them.  ???????????????????   Stinks to high heaven and is also in line with the many,   many scams using the same technique.

Sick of these scammers says:   harassing him at work and at home.  Called 7 times in a row.  He doesn't owe anything.    They have a different message and CASE #  each time they call.   Hmmmmm.

Sherry Walters came to this discussion board to shout "Hallelujah,  what wonderful people they were".  Nobody comes to this board to praise the scammer except the scammer.  Then in her next post  "Whiny crybaby moochers"     Sherry starts show her true colors by insulting people who posted stating that they do not own anybody?

None of the people being called has a clue as to the identity of the caller.  They are lying about who they are  "City plaintiff Dept."   And None of them claims to owe the debt except for the Shill praising them.

Sorry Becky,  I'm going to go with Elspeth and my own experience on this one.    The caller is a Out to skin these people.  Additionally, should there be an error,   I would rather error in favor of those called,  as opposed to the caller.

You don't come here much do you Becky?  There are those members who monitor this board for the scammers or shills.  Shills come here to abet their scams.  Those board members help those who are being scammed by shyster phone calls and methods.  All are well learned in how the scams work and stay up to date on their schemes as well as the FDCPA  collection laws.   They are recognized in a heartbeat.  Most of them are returnees who use the same shill posts and scam attempts.    Have you ever heard of a "City plaintiff Dept"?   Members such as Elspeth and many others play a huge role in separating the white hats from the dark hats.    Many,  many, many people have been rescued from being scammed by such members.   So,  either lead,  follow,  or get out of the way.  We go after low life  scammers and we don't care if their toes are stepped on,  whose feelings get hurt,  and who does and does not likes it.

I owed what they said, paid it and it came off my credit report, they were very helpful and negotiated a lesser amount than what I actually owed. It is what it is...

They have a different messaage and case number everytime they call.  They are harrassing me at work and at home.  I owe nobody anything!  Called seven times in a row to my work today.  They need to be stopped!

THEY CALLED MY JOB AND HE ( SHAWN WALTERS) STATED HE WAS CALLING FROM THE **** CITY PLANTIFF DEPARTMENT, SO I CALLED THE CITY HALL AND THEY STATED THEY DONT HAVE A SHAWN WALTERS AS AN EMPOLYEE NOR DO THEY HAVE A PLANTIFF DEPARTMENT. SHAWN WALTERS TRY AGAIN A***OLE!
