They keep calling my house looking for Someone I've never heard of. Told them to send out the server and we will see what happens.  David Castro is the mans name and he keeps trying to pull a name I recognize out of his hat. Then he tells me I'm Lying to him and that this is the correct number for Rachel Nolan or Noling.  She apparently has the same phone number as me and I've had this number for 20 years. Think it's all a scam.

got a call from them. they're trying to locate my husbands ex. apparently my name and phone # came up when they searched her ss#. they gave a file # and a phone # 855-329-2739 for us to give her.. they want to hear directly from her. I told them good luck with that. I tried to call them using the *67 trick but they told me that my name comes up with the phone i called from... I don't think the *67 works with these people.
My guess is that it is a debt collector trying to locate the X to serve her with some court papers.

They are using unfair practices and tactics and threatening people via  their employers. They are no more than a simple creditor using tactics to phish for social security numbers and possibly identity theft information.

these people are calling my folks house looking for me and said if they cant get ahold of me they would put a warrant out for my arrest, i owe money but u cant go to jail for non payment of credit cards i didnt think. my folks tried givin them my cell to call me but they wouldnt accept it,

What on earth are you trying to say?  The logic of your argument is flaw.  You claim they call ahead of time because "GAS AND TIME EQUALS MONEY PEOPLE".  Well, if they "called ahead", and their target avoid them, then that gas and time was wasted so that claim makes no sense.  Also, why do you feel compelled to type in all caps?

Wow this company does not give up!!  They have successfully called my mother 18 times, my business phone which luckily only says my business and not my actual name 67 times and now I get a phone call that they are now calling a friend of mine who actually co signed on a car for me so I called them back and told the stupid douche that this bill is for 67 dollars and that it was 17 years ago!!!  I told her that I totally forgot about the stupid bill which was also from Finger Hut and that I would pay it in a check sent to them - they cannot accept payment over the phone unless from a credit card - ya like I am going to give that info up since i am still not sure if they were blowing smoke!!  She told me over the phone that they will call me every hour of every day and take me to civil court and that they will find me and already know where I am at all times because they put a GPS on my car!?!?!?!  Said ok np - so which car did you put it on - ummm the small car - funny since I only own a Harley and also a GMC Truck!!  Said well, what color mam - she told me to hold for a Supervisor which sounded like he was in his own house since there were kids in the background and a dog barking every now and then - not to mention he def was not from my country!!  He told me that I had to verify my addy - asked him well which one do you have on file.  He had an address i have never lived at - told him yup that's the one!!  - asked me if I would be there between 8 and 4 tomorrow - I said no but my friends Charolette and Killian will be (They happen to be my dogs and in dog years are well over 21)!!  I asked him where the big bill was from, he tells me a totally different company - Capitol One!!  Told him I have never ever dealt with Capitol One before in my life and his secretary/wife/kid or whoever she was said it was from Finger Hut!!  I was like ok then so you will stop calling me right because I have a police report against this number since they are threatening me on voicemail - sais yes mam I will remove you from our calling/scam list as soon as you sign.  I was like ok then have a great day - went to Verizon Wireless and totally blocked all restricted or unavailable calls!!  I'm pretty sure to this day it was a scam if someone is looking to serve you papers and I know this since the hubby is in a one percenter bike club and always gets served with papers for whatever the hell him and his boys do wrong THEY DO NOT CALL YOU!!  I would beware of these ppl and block all unknown calls!!  I sent in the payment I owed to Finger Hut which was well over 10 years and I really did not have to since it should be erased over 8 years and they did stop calling only when I threatened with the police. Or they were blocked and cannot get through - whichever no more calls have been made to my cell!!  A nuisance and also a pain in the a** but do not play their games!!!  The bill may be legitimate but their tactics and techniques are b***s*** - just beware i even fell for this one - they bought out the company and paid your bill but now are lying to get you to pay it - nope sorry they should have never paid the bill being older than 8 years in the first place  - at least I think they r legitimate - jury is still out on that one

Yes they are a legal company, I owe a finger hut bill and they were hired to collect the funds from me.  Or court I will be.  Payment plans have been made.

I received a call today from this company for someone that I barely know. Had all my info stating they needed to verify the info so she could be served. I dont understand why my info was giving when I barely know this person and then expect me to get her a message. Are they crazy?!?! I'm not their messenger.  

I received phone calls in the same nature.  Called them and let them know to send me something and stop calling me and my family members.  Rep said that they were simply trying to verify my contact info to get me documents to appear.  I asked what they were regarding....she disclosed it was about an older debt of mine the they were hired to litigate on.  Told her good luck with that one.  I must say that I wish I would have spoken more with her, it took about a month but I was served with a civil law suit from the company they were representing.  I also looked up the company that was filing against me and saw others in my county.  Hopefully they will be willing to let me still make payments.  I will give y'all an update after court.  It really sucks when we as consumers hear so much about these scare tactics that we don't know when to actually take them seriously.  The smartest thing Ive been told since this all happened was to conduct whats called a "chain of title" and see who actually owns my debts before this type of thing happens again.  Hope this was useful to anyone  

I have gotten daily calls for 2 days now, its always from an unknown number but gives me this 855 number to call with a referance number, they also said they will be sending people out to my address and work and are probably going to start calling other people in my life to bully them to give them info,this is BS

These people keep calling my girlfriends parents house looking for me. They won't give my girlfriend any information other than a case number and a threat that they were going to serve me if I didn't call. They also said they weren't a collections agency but from what I read in this board, that seems to be a lie. What should I do? If I call then they willl have my number and blow me up everyday
