These people have been harrassing my ex husband for quite some time now.  They have never called my phone never sent anything in the mail but the threaten Im in big trouble and hand out a file #.  If they are a legal company then why haven't I gotten anything from them via phone or email.  When you look up DF Services there are numerous websites but none of which belong to this number or even a debt collector.  Wish they would leave my ex alone and stop harrassing people.  I will be calling them back today sometime to see how big of a scam it really is.

Scam

These b*st*rds just called my home at 8pm telling me that my brother is going to be in real big trouble if he doesnt get in contact with this company. So I took down the information, DF Services and the case number, said to myself, "self go to your trusty friend Google".  Low and be hold these site is the first thing to pop up. Thanks to everyone who posted.

They called my mom's house today, asking for my husband, we live in different houses, and my husband has never lived in my mother's home and never used her number for anything. saying there is a legal complaint against him, and that the sherriff was contacted. none of this is true. it's definitely a scam

These a** clowns have called several of my family members looking for my mother. they make it seem like she is in serious trouble and need to find her asap. of course i am the one intercepting all this information because to get a hold of my mom you need to go through me. well my aunt went off on the lady who called and was able to get a little information. they are going by DF Services and will not talk to anyone but the person they are looking for. They even give out case numbers but they are rude f****. good luck to anyone who gets contacted by them. just tell them if they call again you will be handing their information over to your lawyer.

You can go to the FTC website and file a complaint.  You can also search online for your state's Attorney General's Office. Many have the ability to file online complaints but will certainly have contact information. You should file complaints with both agencies.  Your attorney may also be able to help if they are violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act by suing them for damages.

I received a call from this number a week ago advising me that I have an old debt that they are collecting on, but it turns out that that account was closed in 2004.  They even sent me paperwork regarding the debt.  I showed it to my attorney and he said it was fraud.  They called me again today and left a message on my voicemail asking about my making a payment.  I think it's terrible that they do this to anyone, but especially elderly people on a fixed income.  Is there some government agency that can be contacted about these scammers?

I didn't see but 1 other post but your rite turns out to be a debt collector for a debt that's 10 -15 years old if its valid at all , i thought it was weird from the start .thanks for your input ,,SCREW THESE GUYS THEY SHOULD  SHOULD HAVE KEPT THEIR JOBS AT THE DMV ...

got a call from this number said my nephew has a failure to appear and needs to call this firm w/in a hour or sheriffs will be coming to serve him ??? I'll find out more and post back sounds like some kind of scam ...
