Jenny Cooper called my work number on my day off

These people called my work phone .  We are a call center and the calls are recorded for quality assurance purposes

i received over 400 calls at my work phone (main line) starting calling me at 9:30am until almost 3:00pm. i was freaking out because they two guys under the name is Nick Anderson and his manager Raymond Scott where being so ride and starting using profanity. if some Indians guys with the above names and number 855-332-4348 call your phone telling you about a loan you owned and are there a lawsuit against you and that you need to pay money don't give any type of information to them, they also have people dressing up as cops meeting you at Walmart so you could pay them.......JUST IGNORE ITS A SCAM THEY ARE FULL OF S*** AND THEY PISSED ME OFF!!!!!!

same  call  a woman   call saying  have my  attorney call her  right  away

Calling threatening me ...to have me arrested ...over 10 calls in a few hours.

ASK THEM THIS THREE QUESTIONS
1. ON WHICH DATE BANK AND ACCOUNT MONEY WAS DEPOSITED?
2. ASK FOR REAL CREDITOR'S NAME ADDRESS TOLL FREE PHONE NUMBER AND WEBSITE FROM WHICH THE LOAN WAS TAKEN BY YOU?
3.ASK THEM THEIR LOCATION ADDRESS AND WEBSITE OF THEIR DEPARTMENT?

I get so tired of those Indian scammers using the closing  "all I can do is wish you luck".   It seems to be one of their scamming trademarks.   And their use of American or Western names makes you think they are rejects from an AT&T customer service center.

Just got a call from this number, the man kept repeating my namr and last 4 of my social and asked me to confirm. After me repeadedly asking what this was regarding he said he was transferring me to his supervisor. I hung up. His thick indian accent made me think scam. Immediately after I hung up, his "supervisor" called back and said if I do not call back and resolve this matter, the consequenes would be dire. SCAM! Whatever matter that needs resolution must be made clear in writing. Don't fall for the scam people!

Faxing or emailing documents is not the accepted method of delivery - per the FDCPA, you should never pay any caller who refuses to MAIL proof that you owe a debt to them.  In any case, your callers are scammers, so just tell them you're not falling for their BS and the FBI is monitoring and tracing any calls they make to you.  And please do report them to the FTC, FBI and your state's Attorney General.  They can't really do much with offshore scammers, however, the information you give can help others avoid the same scam.

Print out this thread and give to your HR Dept and/or manager - you're being harassed by offshore scammers, so local and federal authorities can't really help.  Do report the caller to the FTC, FBI and your state's Attorney General - the info you give them can help other people know how to avoid the same scams.  

In any case, debt is civil, not criminal, so there are no arrest warrants.  You can tell your callers that the FBI is monitoring and tracing any calls they make to you - that might get them to stop calling. at least for a time.  Most scammers will quit calling once they know that you're not an easy mark and are not falling for their line of BS.

They're not really concerned because the US government can't touch scammers who are in India, or outside of the US.

Kelly Smith  or Sarah Johnson whichever name she decides to use is refusing to fax me any so called paperwork that she calims they have. Everytime I mention it she hangs up. Her indian accent is so bad that I can hardly understand her.

I received a call from 855-332-4348 today from a forgein man claiming  to be Mr. Raymond Scott from the Criminal Bureau of Crime investigations. He said he wanted to verify my last social numbers and he repeated them to me. I would not verify it to him because he would not tell me where he was calling from. He kept saying is this you and then repeated a whole social security number. I kept telling him i wanted to know where and who he was calling from. He began yelling at me telling me we called your cell number and you dont return our calls and we are going to call your work number and keep calling you until you speak with us. We are going to speak with your supervisor if you dont speak with us and clear up this matter.As i tried to talk to him he said i will have you speak with my supervisor , i will have him call you and as i tried to respond to him he hung up on me. My Co-worker answered the call next and went and got my supervisor to talk to him. He told her i was under investigation for fraudulant documents (?????????????) and if she didnt get me to contact them they would be out with a warrant to arrest me. I dont know whether to call them back or not. it sounds very fishy to me . Who can i report them to as far as federal or local law enforcement.

Called at work the other day.Claim to be the investigation department. Wouldn't say what the call is about. Didn't sound like a legit phone call. I had a keychain that makes noises and made them listen to it.

I got a call at work from a woman named Janie Cooper, she also called my cell phone. The receptionist did not transfer her to me because (thankfully) she's new and she didn't know my full name. The VM on my phone said that I owed money to Visa and I am being sued. However, when I called the number (1-855-332-4348) a man named Brian Smith with an extremely heavy Indian accent said he was one of her associates. I asked him who did I owe money to. Without even asking my name, he told me "US CASH ADVANCE." I told him, first of all, you are disrespecting your parents by saying your name is Brian, when I am certain it is NOT (just to see how he would react). Second, I have never taken out a pay day loan of any kind. He argued with me and said that I did, and that they were suing me, and I was going to be arrested if I didn't pay the money I owed. I said go ahead, but in order to sue someone you'd actually have to show up in America! He called me a m_____r  f_____r, and told me they would keep calling me at work until I got fired or until I paid them the $492 I owed. I said the government has laws that state that a collection company cannot call someone at work if it is not a convenient phone number for them. I also said, why would you WANT someone to get fired from their job??!! Then you'll NEVER be able to collect the debt because there won't be any wages to garnish! I ended the phone call after I told him I will not be paying him one red cent, and he needs to find a real job and stop scamming people. Then I hung up. DO NOT GIVE ANY MONEY TO 1-855-322-4348 OR ANY OTHER COMPANY UNLESS YOU HAVE CONFIRMED THE IDENTITY OF THE COMPANY AND THE DEBT ON YOUR CREDIT REPORT!!!

I got a call on my cell phone from an Indian woman saying her name was Kelly Smith called the number back from my work phone and somebody answered but no company name... However they have been calling my work number wither with 8553324348 or an unknown number I see the number and pick up and hang up so they call back repeatedly

Just received a call from "Kelly" saying me or my attorney should contact them and if we don't all she could do was wish me luck wth

You can also print out this forum thread to show your HR Dept/manager - you should NOT get into trouble because scammers are harassing you!  The callers are from overseas, so not much to be done about them.  FYI, debt is civil, not criminal, so no one is arrested for defaulting on a loan.

They just called my work and the person calling went by the name of Kelly Smith with an accent.  Stating that there was a warrent for my arrest.  Once I asked for the name of the company and location so I could forward the information to my lawyer she hung up.  What a bunch of idiots.

the same guy called my cell and work number as well.  I told him I was reporting his name and number to BBB as well as the police dept in my town.  Didn't seem too concerned.

They harass me so much I change my cell number , and then they started calling me at work. But they stop after I told them I knew it was a scam, do not pay them.

Just had a person call stating that this number called her at work claiming that she had defaulted on a loan (that does not exist), and that they were going to have her fired.  100% a scam.

I received a call at my place of employment stating they were needing to speak with me about an investigation. Name left was Kelly Smith at phone number 855-332-4348. I called back and a male answered with hello. I asked him who he was and who he worked for. He said his name was raymond scott with the criminal beauro of investigation. I asked him what he wanted with (my name inserted here). he said he could not help me with more information about me. I then asked for his superior officer and he gave me his "name" again. i told him that this was the same name and i wanted his superior officer's name. he told me he was his own superior officer. I told him he was full of s*** and hung up. I filed a formal complaint at consumerfinance.gov.
These people spoke in a india accent. DO NOT TRUST THEM. They are lying.

You would think that they would take a few minutes to find out what the law is regarding debt her in the good old USofA.  Ridiculous.

Just happend to me today they being calling all week long about some type loan .... Never took and they said I will go to jail of I didn't pay 972.00 ....! Called my job 14 times until he spoke to my office manager I told her to f...... Off and I should be fired !  Nice right this needs to stop take action everyone I reported to police department to prevent me to get fired from my job I being working here for over 5 years never had any problems with money or justice !!!! Please. Learn and take action now !!!!!!

Called and said was sheriffs dept and they were looking for an employee and they cussed me out!!!

just received me third phone call from this number the other number was out of texas. I contacted an attorney the last time who told me not to pay any money to anyone because its a scam! Yes i applied for an online loan and i never followed through to receive it. I called the number back and told them my attorney wanted there name and address and name of businesss to be reported to the bbb and they told me they would stop calling and hung up smh SCAM

I keep getting calls from this number and a guy by the name of Nick Anderson claims that I have a law suit against me regarding a payday loan with mine and my sister's company. We have no such loan for our company and this guy calls both our business phone and my cell phone several times a day on a daily basis. When asked for his bar number and the case number and told not to call our phone he starts using profanity. For anyone with this type of call or you get a call from this number call the Consumer Protection of Finance Bureau at 855-411-2372 and file your complaint with them to stop this guy! You can also go to consumerfinances.gov to file your complaint online. You can also contact the FBI as well to report it.

This number called me told me i had 3 charges against my name. That i borrowed 300 dollars and now owed them 800. Said they were gonna call my job and have my pay docked. They actually did call my job. They told me i was gonna be sent to jail. I'm going to school for these kinds of scams dont pay them.
