I have received calls on my cell phone from these people TWICE in the last 24hrs!  Yesterday giving me 72 (message almost word-for-word as those reported by other callers here!) & today giving me a deadline to call by 5PM today!
(Both messages stating a docket # & case # - also as referred to in these previous complaints!)  Did I MEtion that the caller ID lists them as "Restricted"?!?!?  I "Googled" the number that they left for a call-back, & it led me here.
These guys are obviously "bottom feeders" & will NOT be hearing from ME!

Michelle Montoya has called my parents home 3x that I have not lived with since 1998, leaving voicemails in detail saying she was calling from the Law Offices of United National Arbitration phone # 855-339-4039 ext. 302 left a case document number she said was servicing a legal notice said I had multiple charges being filed against me and told me what county they would be filed in, which is the county I do reside in. Told me to call back in 72 hours to give a statement, if not the case would be forwarded to the county courts office. I dont owe any loans or debts. What can I do to stop these scamming 3rd parties from calling my family and friends???? These people are ridicilous, GET A REAL JOB!!!!!

Dear Mr./Ms. Disgusted,
You are a very rude person, and from the looks of it - uneducated. Your spelling and grammar errors lead me to believe that you are too angry to read a book, and too busy being a name calling hot head to acknowledge the misspelled word alerts your computer is desperatley trying to send you.
Yes, there are people that take loans out without the intention of paying them back. Yes, there are people who take loans out with the intention of paying them back, but sudden life events prevent them from doing it. Yes, there are companies out there who steal personal information and prey on people who lack information regarding their rights under the Fair Collection Practices Law to know that they are being scammed. Unfortunately, there are many companies doing this. Most American's credit scores have plummeted since 2008 and they have acquired quite a bit of debt. This usually happens when you're put on 'survival mode'. In case you don't understand this concept, survival mode happens when the loss of your job, house, family member or other valuable asset is suddenly ripped out of your hands and you find yourself with the choice of either feeding your family or paying a high interest loan you acquired during the intitial stages of said travesty. These are the people you are including in your 'parasites' comment. It shouldn't come as a surprise to me, since the person you've represented yourself to be based on your comments is a close minded, nasty human being. I imagine that these events have never occurred to you or your loved ones and henceforth lack the foresight to understand this point of view. I also imagine that you are incredibly upset that the butterflies and rainbows world your parents described doesnt actually exist, that is why you are exploding such ridiculousness to these folks who are only here to try to identify the mysterious caller on their phone.
I feel sad for you. That is all for you.

As for myself - these folks call me day and night. I refuse to answer their calls because they are indeed a scam. I've never acquired any loans, even though I did apply for it once and refused to see it through when I saw the interest rate. I assume this is how they've acquired my information- but on the two occassions I've talked to them, they didn't have my birthdate correct, and once they addressed me with my maiden name, which I haven't used in almost 10 years. Very fishy. They call my job, and my cell while blocking their ID. Once they just left a message and giggled on my answering machine, which albeit adorable- I found somewhat annoying. :)
My advice is to ignore these folks or ask them to send you the proof of debt in writing. Do your research of what a debt collector or attorney is supposed to send you when you request that so they don't get away with just sending you a letter stating that you owe it. These imbeciles actually believe that carries any weight with the FTC. My 14 year old daughter could do that! Also, something to note- you can't be threatened during the collection of a debt. That is against the law. Also, the police will not issue a warrant for your arrest for a debt if the debt is under $10K. That is a civil matter for small claims court, not a criminal matter. The amount varies per state, but I advise that you look into it yourself and protect yourself from collection agencies who either buy an old debt and use shady practices to collect, or companies who buy your personal information and create a false debt to rob you blind.
Good luck and live well!

I just received a call on my cell phone from Michelle Montoya and was told that she works for the Law office of UNA and that I had a judgement filed against me.  I told her I could not speak to her because I was at work and that I would have to call her back.  When I hung up, I googled the name of the company and couldn't find anything.  I then googled the call back phone number and found all these complaints.  THANK YOU for this listing or I would of called her back!

I am so glad I looked this up. The lady, Michelle Montoya, had my name correct, and threatened me on the voicemail saying that she had a court docket # XXXX and that I had to call within 72 hours or charges would be filed. I didn't know if this was for a personal matter, a loan, or what. I only have one loan out, and everything is okay with that, so immediately an alarm went off in my head saying that something was wrong with this call. I decided to look them up, and sure enough they are a scam. So scary that they can get away with threatening people in such a manner, and making up a court case surely is illegal in and of itself. I've had my identity stolen twice, and am extra cautious to avoid it happening again. I am reporting them to my local police. Do not give them any info if they call you!

Received a voice mail from this number today telling me that charges would be filed against me at 3:00 pm today if they did not hear from me. I called the 855 number around 5:00 today and did not receive an answer.
Subsequently,I did some research which is why I am posting right now on this site. If they call back,I'll be ready.
Thanks for the postings and to "disgusted".....I don't owe anyone or any entity any payments that have not been paid ON TIME. You are the "scumbag" and "parasite."

I just got a call from 855-339-4039, United National Arbitrations.  Left Voice Mail    He said his name was John Thomas with the law office of U&A Associates, he said Legal notification against Stacy Durham was pending in my county and is scheduled for prosecution on September 30.    To avoid further prosecution I should call him.  He left case Number 331900.  I don't know anyone by the name of Stacy Durham.  I'm sure glad I did my research and found these very similar stories. I'm reporting this a scam as well.

I believe Alex must work for United Abitration.  So defensive!  I, too, received a call from this company.  I did more than google in my research and found this to be a scam.  The website is even fake.  Also, you spelled "accurate", "legitimate" and "your" wrong.  I don't like the use of the term "retard" but....uhhhh.

no bea. they already have all your information because you provided it when you took out the loan that they were tryn to collect on. its possable that they wrent really going to file charges against you, however, that doesnt make them a scam. unfortunatly the only way there companys can get you people to payYOUR DEBTS is buy threatening legal action. in my opion, as well as the majority of societies opion, that would make all of you the scumbag scammers. by taking out loans and not paying them back, there is a name for that, its called STEALING!!!.....you should all be in prision. they are trying to get the scum of the earth aka all of you to pay back YOUR LEGITIMATE DEBTS!!!!...when a company gives you money, guess what? YOU HAVE TO PAY IT BACK.....its people wh think that they can steal these companys money fault that  america is going into the s****ole......cause all of you parasites!....have a great day-----maybe you'll get lucky today and find an old womans purse you snatch :)

My family who lives over 100 miles away got numerous calls for myself saying they had criminal charges filed against me and that I needed to call this number right away.  855-339-4039.  My father, who had gotten the call said how did you get my number they said I GAVE IT TO THEM A WEEK AGO.  I never once talked to this company nor do I have anything that could be used against me in terms of debt.  I am not a deadbeat and pay my bills and for them to try to get money from a struggling parent is wrong on so many levels!  I called this number plus an extension they gave me 313 and I got some woman named sofias voicemail well I called and told them a phone number to contact me and me only I also said that I would have my lawyer contact them as well to get all the information faxed that I should have a right to see what is being filed against me.  Never got a call back from them and I did look on here and found out it was a scam and I also filed a complaint with the Federal Trade commission I hope I helped and for anyone who thinks that the reason they are contacting us is because we bailed out on credit cards or wrote bad checks.  I know for a FACT that is not the truth!  Anyone who gets these calls, don't do anything rash and go on and research the company ask for information regarding the charges filed because you do have the right to them if they dont give you an address or anything then they are complete fraud!

I to have been called by United National Arbitration LLC; It was a lady who claimed to be Michelle Montoya who works for a law office and said I have 72 hours... and she even knew the county I lived in and my girlfriends number. Upon doing further research using sources I cannot mention I found the address from which this call was maid was 6513 Hackberry Drive Lakeview, NY 14085 which is some ones house. I'd also like to add that there are three occupants living in this house 2 male and 1 female all are Caucasian so they must be using made-up names when they leave messages as Montoya is a Spanish last name. I also called my court house and found out that there have been no such charges filled against me. Kind of scary how this scammer found out my girlfriends cell number. If anyone else knows anymore information about this please share.

I received a call from United National Arbitration. I was told there were charges filed against me for check fraud and breach of contract. This would be a Class 4 Felony and Class 1 Misdemeanor respectively. I was told that they were just getting a statement and that I could dispute the charge or settle by paying the fee. If I disputed, I would be responsible to pay legal fees and court costs. I said that I would call back and on a whim looked up the company online and found other people had heard the same story from this company. When I confronted the "attorney" he would not give a mailing address and refused to provide any additional information. He told me that a subpoena and an arrest warrant would be all the concrete proof I needed.

This is a scam, I have filed a complaint with the FTC. Please do not give this company your account information or debit card number.

I hope this helps!
