i am a student who applied for fafsa, but i got on a strange site that didnt look like it usually did, i thought they remodeled the website. so i put in a bunch of my info until i came across needing the school codes. so i went on my school website and they had a link to the original fafsa site. a few days later i got a call from a ramona saying my fafsa was incomplete. i called back and some guy answered. after i confirmed my very personal information, he said that they could help me finish the application over the phone, then said i didnt pay for the initiation fee of $89.99. I told him this was strange then hung up. I applied for fafsa 3 times and never did they charge me. god please dont let that person use my information ....

I just got a call saying I had an incomplete fafsa. After I gave them all my info, they asked for 89.99 for a fee. Fafsa doesn't charge.

This is basically like signing your house over to Big Brother because you didn't like a commercial you saw. No thanks.

For everyone receiving harrassing call such as this one. Go get a free google voice number through your gmail account. Forward all your calls to your google voice mail. You can still set up a normal voice message for everyone you want calling you. But if you do not want them to call, go into settings on google voice click on block call and they will hear a disconnected number sound. They will never call back because they believe you disconnected your number

BEWARE!!!  They are scam artists.  I heard children in the background.  They are also connected to a 516 453 6886 number that shows up on caller ID as JGV.  The guy, Kevin Collins, claims to be from Australia, talks a lot of SH*T, and wanted me to spend money to eliminate viruses from my computer.  REPORT THEM TO CONSUMER AFFAIRS IMMEDIATELY.  Big hint, he did not know about the massive amounts of snow that fell in NYC recently.  They are aggressive, but back off a bit when you do not answer the phone.  They will not comply with do not call as they are not a real company.

Rec'd a voicemail on my phone on 11/18 looking for my son and claiming to need information for his  "fast application" from Student Financial Aid Services. My son hasn't applied for financial aid since 2012. Her name is Ramona and she left phone number for  call back at 1 (866) 514-8930. My bank account got hit a couple of weeks ago for about $70.00 for "financial aid application". I contacted my bank and they put the money back into my account. Scarey!  

Currently I am looking for job so I answer all phone calls. Pick up the phone but just keep silent on the other side3. Wasted my minutes. Wish they would stop this kind of harassing calls.

They called me at 8 am. I told them the number was on the do not call list. Perhaps they need to comply with that fact.

I have received 3 calls in a row and that was after I spoke with them and told them I was not interested in furthering my education. Obviously someone does not understand no, do not call back.

Answered with Hello someone on other end said Hello, I said Hello and they hung up!

I must have received over a dozen calls in the last 3 days.  I followed their "suggestion" to be taken off the list....  to no avail....  I called the number back spoke to an individual and am assured that my number will be removed.....   within 48 hours.  I explained that if I get ONE more call, I will notify the BBB.

They have been harassing us with 3 or 4 calls per day. We don't even pick up the phone. This is most annoying and should be refered to law enforcement for harassement.

I recived a call from this number, again, at 9:45 am PST.  This is a second day I have had them call.  As usual, they called without a message of any kind.   I wish it to stop.

This number is a education center of some sort that pretends to help college students with transferring. If one calls this number back, one will get an automated machine. If one does not press any of the options, then one gets an answer from a live representative.  If one tells them that one does not want to transfer colleges or universities, they might leave you alone.

Names of the representatives include Crystal, maybe Chris, and Vanessa.

This might be from filling out scholarships that may not be reputable. Make sure that the scholarships that one fills out are reputable. I recommend going to Fastweb in order to avoid this kind of problem.

Claimed to be college tuition assistants.  Said they were located in my city. could not tell me the name of the firm they represented. it's a phishing scam.

I only started getting calls after I filled out for some scholarships. My friend said its normal for those people to call you. Lol @PissedOffPrego. I have yet to answer but from what i've read on here, i don't know if i should.

This number just called me 3 times in a row. The first time I picked it up and they asked me about my education and if I wanted to pursue more. In seriously broken English. I couldn't even tell if it was a man or woman and it talked so slow and with such a thick unrecognizable accent, it was irritating. We'll see if I get any more calls. They sound persistant. UGH, LEARN ENGLISH!

these idiots started calling at 6:40 am today, and every 2 hours after... they should be shot. not only they keep waking me up they want me to waste my valuable phone minutes on their crap They should all die!

I have been receiving calls from this number relentlessly. I am pregnant and they wake me up at the most awful times. I think next time they call I'm just gonna let them sit there and listen to me hurl. I think they should get the point.

They keep calling me wanting to know if i'm going back to school. I told them I was retired and don't want to go back to school.

I received several of these calls on my cell phone and declined to answer since I did not recocognize the caller ID and try to avoid paying for calls from solicitors. Since the calls continued I Googled the number and clicked on this site. I have registered my phone number with the National Do Not Call  List. What happens to those who violate and call anyway?

Its a company that deals with online education...call the number and you can get removed from thier list
