They don't say NRA they say National Rifle Association.  So they are not National Recovery Associates.  They are pissing me off.  One of my friends was killed in a school shooting.  A beautiful woman.  I hate guns!

I received a call from 1-855-348-2371 This is a call center hired by the national rifle association. Call back the number and you will be asked if you would like to hear about the NRA- press the number when prompted listen to the message and then you will be asked if you want to be removed from their call list- you will be asked to enter your phone #, by law they have up to 30 days to remove your number. Got a call from 855-348-2371 today, got one yesterday from a different number, both said they were "NRA" and asked for my husband. I told them he wasn't available, and asked could I help them, they hung up. Rude! I keep telling them not to call any more, but they still do.

Clearly states in their greeting message that it's the National Rifle Association. So, either you are incorrect, purposefully or not, or these supposed bill-collectors are grossly misrepresenting themselves.

It mentions how they're the oldest civil rights, and sportsmen's group in the country. Either you are a paid plant of the NRA, or, more likely, you haven't bothered to listen to the message. Step one in avoiding deceit: pay some attention to what's going on around you.

i just dialed the number back and the message clearly states that it is the national rifle association,also prompts you to press a certain number to be taken off the list!

I received a robo call from this number.  When I answered I got a dial tone.  These unwanted call are very annoying and we have our phone number on the "DO NOT CALL LIST"..

I received a call from this number and the caller left no message.  I would like to have the calls stopped.

Just got a call from this number.  Called it back and it is the "National Rifleman Association", NOT any collection agency.  Pressed the numbers to have my number deleted, hope it works!!!

The above is from their websites.  The calls I have received show Toll Free and NRA on the caller ID. If you want to complain call their toll free number. Please do research before you spread rumors about the National Rifle Association!! Do you really expect debt collectors to properly identify themselves and tell you the truth??? Whatever you do, don?t call the number back and press numbers to have your phone number removed. This only verifies they have a correct number and will use other false phone numbers and caller ID?s to contact you.

STOP CALLING

Totally annoying call from the NRA.  The gist, if you are against the UN coming into the US and taking away our 2nd amendment rights, push one, if you are not against the UN coming into the US and taking away our 2nd amendment rights, press 2.  Absolutely not option to say the survey is totally retarded.  If these bozos try to use the results of an idiotic survey like this to prove anything they should have their first amendment rights curtailed permanently.

Very tired of unsolicited calls. I am on the Do Not Call registry but there are so many loopholes it's made very little difference.

There is no way to stop these kinds of calls.  Did you check out the area code?  Our government has no jurisdiction over Canada.  Just click the phone on, then turn it off quickly.  A few dozen calls like that and they will give up.

This is indeed National Rifle Association. (I called the number back to verify - since previous posts contradicted one another). I pressed 2 to be removed from calling list, received a recorded message of what the NRA does, and to press 2 again if I don't want to receive additional calls in the future. I pressed 2 again and only had silence. I am not sure if this will work, I received no confirmation if my number will be taken off the list.

Just confirming that I called back - they give you an option to "Press 2 now" to be removed from their calling list - then they give you some speech, and give you an option to "Press 1 to end this call" - then another "Press 2 to end this call"  Hopefully that will end the calls for me!
