Bill Collectors calling to make a 'generous' settlement offer. Oooohhh, my lucky day, eh?

Received call today on my private cell phone number (how did they get that????!!!!!) International Asset Group.  B*****ds!! They can pound salt.

I don't know who they are...I just want them to stop calling my home

These are phoney collectors...did they have an indian accent claiming to be a mr smith or jones...dont worry or pay them a dime!

I have been receiving phone calls from a company claiming to be IAG and harrassing me into paying for a debt that I never heard of. I asked them to send me ALL documentation regarding the payday loan I supposebly received. They claim they can not do that. I said that if in fact I owe this debt i will settle but want to do it with a money order. They refused to settle with me because they said I need to settle with a debit card. Today i received a call from some lady (did not identify her name) she left a voicemail on my cell phone and said that there would be a carrier sent to my work tomorrow afternoon to serve me with papers to sign beccause I was in breach of contract she insisted that i call this number to settle. I contacted the number she requested (which was different than this number) and they refused to let me pay with a money order. Is this a scam or a legit company? Please help me because they are really harrassing me.

This company have been calling a person I know on her home phone. I do not have a land phone and it seems somehow they have got her number and continue to call her. Today they left (4) messages on her home phone. This is against the law for any so called debt collection to call another person concerning any personal matter you may have. I am reporting this company to the Attorney General's office.

There are harrassing the wrong person.

This girl from this number called my house and said i have refused to take care of a matter and so therefore they are filing against me. I've never received anything in the mail from any collection agency with this number nor out of state collection agency. Said she was going to contact my HR department for collection.

I got this call this morning, called back liked they asked and sat on hold for 20 minutes. They have made the same the claims against me. I do have an attorney, I spoke to him and he said not to worry this is going to be resolved shortly. They claim they have been calling me and I have not responded, this however was the 1st call I have received from them. I live in Illinois and want to be sure there is nothing they can do to me as I'm not sure who the heck these people actually are.

I got a voicemail left by a Ray Smith at work claiming to be from a Asset Group, in regards to breach of contract, and I or my attorney should call back. He claimed that if I don't call back it will escalate into further action. I use to get calls from a group of foreigners with heavy accents, saying the exact same thing. Does anyone know how to stop the calls.....It's a huge scam, they try to get you to fax over your bank account information, debit card infor, and claim if you don't they have filed a case against you in court. ALL BOGUS BS

IAG IS A COLLECTION COMPANY THAT WILL CALL YOU AT HOME, WORK, AND ALL OTHER NUMBERS YOU PROVIDED THE ORIGINAL CREDITOR.  IF YOU ARE IN TEXAS, NEVER FEAR, TEXAS IS A NON-GARNISHMENT STATE AND IF YOU DO NOT OWN REAL PROPERTY (LAND, BUILDINGS) YOU ARE JUDGEMENT PROOF.  EVEN IF YOU GET SUED IN TEXAS THE ODDS ARE THAT THE CREDITOR (COLLECTION COMPANY) WILL NEVER COLLECT.  SIMPLY SEND IAG A CEASE AND DECEASE LETTER WITH RETURN RECEIPT THRU THE POSTAL SYSTEM.

I got a phone call from Michelle Garren.  She only identified herself then asked if my husband Anthony would return a call to her.  When I called the number back she answered and then hung up on me.  I called then number again from my work phone and got a voice mail box for Lanissa Lopez.  I pushed 0 to be connected with an operator and was on hold for over 10 min.  Never did connect to a real person except for the hang up I got when I initially returned the phone call.

I KEEP GETTING CALLS FOR PEOPLE THAT DON`T LIVE HERE    PLEASE READ THE AZ LAWS OF HARRASSMENT AND QUIT CALLING MY PHONE!!!
