It's TXU. Wanting to renew contracts, etc.

I didn't answer nor call back (don't want them to claim contact).  If, in fact, it is TXU I agree with TXU-not & PLA.

I was a TXU customer for years, but when I didn't sign a contract they sent a letter saying my rates would increase substantially.  I left them over a year ago.  Since then I have been deluged with "offers",  my contract with the new carrier was up recently, so I responded to TXU's latest (mail) offer.  Got a bunch of double talk about their rate & the addional rate of the "service provider" yada yada.  Got a much better deal resigning with the carrier I selected when TXU drove me away.

Why can't these these businesses just lower rates & quit offering rewards blah, blah.  Wise up consumers, those prepaid credit cards they offer are paid for by your higher rates!!!!

Everyday there are at least 3 calls on my called ID from this number.  I never answer toll free numbers I don't recognize, but I suspected it was from TXU.  I just switched my electric company and was warned I would probably start getting calls from TXU.  Funny how they won't do anything to help when you ask until you've commited to another company.

This number calls at least twice a day.... even AFTER I have met the qualifications for the time limit on the "Do Not Call" list. I don't answer as I never answer from callers I don't recognize. They never leave a message. Wish they would quit calling as it's very annoying. I noticed on this list that the number appears to be from an electric company soliciting customers? And they can call a DO NOT CALL list number???

I called them back and wasn't going to say anything, but this human at the other end of the line is not at fault and I spoke after her 2nd "hello".  Sure NOW they have a better deal after I make the switch, but they couldn't reply when I asked 2 weeks ahead of time for their best offer.

Anyway the deal is still not on their site (where she said it should be).  She claimed $0.083 per kWh based on 1000 kWh.  I won't be going back unless they cover the cancellation fee they would cause me for taking 3-4 weeks to make an offer.

Been a customer since 1999.  You think they would have made a better offer faster.

i also don't answer calls from numbers i don't recognize. this number keeps call 3=4 times a day. i want it stopped.

I will not answer calls where I don't recognize the number; leave a message.
