They're at it again.  They called my cell and left a message about my policy about to expire.  I don't even have a policy with them nor have I ever had any association with them.

Got a call from these guys, didn't answer it. What galls me is that is was to my CELL phone. Isn't that illegal?

This is an automated system from HMS Home Warranty.  It calls us frequently because they want us to renew the policy that came with the house we bought ten months ago. Since we did have business with them in the past, I guess it's legal...but very annoying. I believe that robo systems dial many numbers simultaneously and respond only to the first one that goes through.  Anyone else who answers the call after that gets "dead air".  A message is left only if none of their calls is answered and your phone rings long enough to trigger your voice mail.

Received phone call from this number.  Answered it and there was no response.  Then suddenly sound "hold music" started playing, so I hung up.  I assume it's some sort of scam or telemarketing thing.
