This is one of the many telephone numbers associated with Bank of America.  It is a direct line to a customer service representative at card services, and once you provide the agent thecase number, you can verify that it is indeed Bank of America.  I asked a few questions about my account to confirm that it was a legitimate phone call, and I did not have to provide a credit card or my social security number.  The call was regarding a case that had been opened for me regarding an issue with my account.

This is a ligit number. It is a back door office number to get someone right away. I didn't tell them any of my credit card numbers and gave them my case number they called about. I asked them on the card that I upgraded, how much my credit limit was and they were correct. I didn't even give them my cc number and they knew enough, about the time I upgraded and my last purchase. They are all right. In fact, I think I'll dial this number to get a live person right away instead of going throguh a automated system.

This company, Card Services (can we get more vague than this?) called me from 1800.362.6299 and pretended to be Bank of America. This is a fake call and when I gave them the case number they left me on my voicemail, they said it doesn't exist. Since the case # doesn't work, they immediately had the balls to ask for my social security number and all of my credit card numbers. Since I have 100 credit cards, I asked them which one, because I just spill out credit card numbers left and right to strangers on the phone or anyone on the street who asks. I'm reporting them to the FTC as we speak. This is definitely a FRAUD, FAKE, and SPOOFING call. They asked me to call them back at 855.359.9459.

But just a note: NEVER read your card number to anyone unless you are certain of the business or person on the other end. A legit credit card office already has your number.

Just called the BofA number on the back of my credit card (which is 800-421-2110) and spoke with someone who recognized the claim number I was given from the message left for me. They did tell me to call back 855-359-9459, but I was hesitant. Apparently this is a back office number, but I would always call the BofA number on the back of your card to verify/handle your business!

Call from this number and they left message with refernece # when calling back. Did so, they asked for credit card # right away. Told them forget it, caller didn't talk for a while then said they were B of A. Call went blank so when I called it back, got a Dental referral firm at that number. Look out.

I got the same call pretending to be Card Services. . . this is a phishing scam . . the caller i.d. says 1-800-421-2110, which is an old Bank of America Number. Thanks for your previous post.

Called saying they were Clark Services calling about a recent inquiry on my account.

I have never had an account or done business with any company by the name of Clark Services, which make one question the validity of the call.

All the background noise of people talking sounded like a telemarketing boiler room.

They left a call back number on my answering machine of 855-359-9459.

Had an ongoing problem with my BofA card.  They read my card number back to me to confirm they had it already and solved my issue.

It's a legitimate FIA Card Services (Bank of America) number.

Same idea, late evening phone call, referring to a change to our BofA account in a general way, suggesting we call back.  Looked it up instead!
