This number called my cell phone on 6/27/2014 at 6:25 pm. I wouldn't have minded actually speaking to the person, but it annoyed me that I had to dig through my purse to find my phone just to have them hang up on me when I said hello.
After reading the other comments, I did buy a new car about a month ago so I assume it was them calling me.

They purport to be from any of a number of dealerships (in my case Dale Jr. Chevrolet in Tallahassee) and they get your number from the dealership. They got mine because I took my car there for warranty work and they were "calling because you missed your scheduled appointment" - I didn't. Legitimate business(es) in general I think, but they employ telemarketers in an underhanded way to try to drum up business. Confirmed my opinion of why I bought my Chevy from an out-of-town dealership I trust rather than my local dealer.

Left a message saying that the car that I purchased, and have since lost due to an accident, was due for it's first scheduled maintenance service. It sounded like it came from a call center as there was a LOT of noise in the background. Susan said that she was calling on behalf of the dealership that I purchased the car from. Why did they have to call me from another state?

855-363-1406 called me and said they represent I believe Rob Sight Ford. I really do not like it much, but I gave home e-mail for future coupons for future maintenance though. Was that stupid of me? I am beginning to think so.

This must be a third party service used by car dealers. They left a message on behalf of my local FL Ford dealer because the truck we purchased last summer may be due for service.

They keep calling me, I call back, machine says" This call may be monitored for quality assurance.'' Then it hangs up. Your never able to talk to anyone.. this is highly annoying.

I do not want ANY calls from "855-363-1403" or ANY OTHER "855" phone numbers . Anymore numbers and I will turn them over to the FCC, local and state authorities, and the FBI for further investigation!

I have had them call before...in my case it is a central number trying to make an appointment for my car to be serviced. The ironic part is that I work at the dealership that they are representing!

We have received several calls from this number about getting a vehicle we have never owned serviced at a dealership that is in a state where we have never lived. We have tried being polite and we have tried being patient. It didn't work.

I got a call from this number at 9:40 this a.m. from a woman named Carly on behalf of Coggin Deland Honda about my recent auto purchase and it's first scheduled maintenance.

it's just a company that calls car owners for warranty "upgrades" and sign ups.
They're getting your information from the dealership itself, 'selling' your contact info from either a sale you've done there, or work you've have done to the car, even from an oil change.
They are just plainly put: A Telemarketer.

Knew my first name, and the car I currently own. Must be selling car services for multiple brands, as this was for Ford. I demanded that she identify the company she represents, but she wouldn't. I stated that I wouldn't confirm my identity, and allow her to collect any personal information until she identified the company she represents.
I hung-up and added the number to my cell phone Call Reject List, and confirmed my registration on the Do Not Call list. When I called the number back, they again do not identify the company name...SHADY.
I'm contacting Ford via social media to further publicize this issue. I highly recommend that others do the same for their brand. I may also contact the dealership directly, depending on the response I receive from Ford.

I have received phone calls from this number for two weeks now and no message. I am on the "do not call list" and would like these calls to stop immediately. I do not want any solicitors to call me and if I receive a call from them, it only makes me mad and even more disinterested in what they are selling or need to know. My personal time is mine, not theirs.

Got call 5:50 pm CDT. no voice on teh other end and it hung up. Thanks David for lookout on credit card. Totally appreciated!

Everyone this is a fraud call. It happened to me twice. Check your credit card bills for a charge from bluesnap.
They charged me 39 dollars for government services. The caller id said "United States" report the fraud to the FBI or someone so these people can be caught.

Received call from 855-363-1406 and they left a message. It was a reminder that my Toyota (sold last year) was overdue for service. Suspect this is a company that handles a lot of different reminder calls for car dealers and others.

Just received a call from this number. They left a message that they were from Fremont Ford reminding me to bring my car in for servicing. Looks like the car dealers use the same call center to remind us to bring our vehicles in for servicing.

keeps calling and hanging up.
| RS 2014-03-04 16:15:29 Unknown |
Message left from what sounds like a 3rd party call center to remind me of service interval for my car I bought over a year ago. The caller very clearly had to read the local number of the dealer to call off a list.
| B.Morazzo 2014-03-04 06:22:31 Unknown |
They all do the same, not only Honda dealers. I received calls from a Nissan dealer about a warranty that is about to expire. Really??? That is a 2000 Altima that I sold 7 years ago. Haha...

BMW(FL) called me from this number . Older lady asked me about the experience of service..

Called and left a message about service at a Toyota dealership. They knew the make and model of my car and the last service date at the dealership. I suspect the car dealerships are selling their customer lists to this company to cold call and schedule service appointments and then they get a cut for every appointment made. Annoying but hardly a scam.

I also recievd a call from this number from time to time, but if its not in my address book NO NEED TO ANSWER. If they have a legitimate business they will leave a voice mail. Thats the best way dealing with these b*****ds

Got a call from a third-party service about my Kia needing service (Austin, TX).
Note to others: It's possible that there is a /second/ third-party spoofing the number, knowing that some people think the number is legitimate.
